I am loving this!!!!! Praise the Lord!!!!!

We also had a victory in Virginia!!!!!

Let us hope & pray that Hoffman wins in New York!!!!!
We're on our way back! Great success in New Jersey and Virginia! I'm still hopeful that Hoffman will win the 23rd in NY!
going to be a long night , go hoffman!!!! that would be a total sweep on the poles.
I am happy that the republicans have done so well but I belive that this night will do 2 things. It will tell the current administration that they need to push their liberal agenda now now now since they may not have the actual vote of the people in 4 years.
I also belive that a lot of the tea party or independent canidates could have done much better and this sets a mandate for them to put a winnable canidate on the ballot.
Democrats and all you RINOS still in the GOP, this is only the first wave! These victories only confirm that the people's rebellion last summer against Obama and the Democrats' Socialist surge was no fluke, and that the momentum is still with us, and we're gaining speed every second, and there is still plenty of fuel in the tank to propel this steamroller all the way to November in 2010 and 2012! We're not going to drink your socialist Kool-Aid! The people are mad as hell and they're not going to take it anymore! So you have two choices. You can change course, abandon your socialist trek and come aboard, or continue to stand in the way like a deer in the headlights and get run over because this train isn't stopping for anything or anyone! Fight on!!
great job keep up good job
This is great! Still our fight against this corrupt Government is only starting, we still have a long way to go, but today is a good sign. For the Republican Party, I hope they know now that the Principles of Conservatism must stand firm, not because we vote for the Party, but what the candidate stand for. We must continue to show these Liberals that we mean to kick them out by 2010, & 2012. By now BO realise he cannot be on campaign mode all the time. Instead now his future Demo. candidates will avoid him like the plague, like Al Gore avoided Clinton when he was running his presidential campaign against young Bush.
I heard on talk radio tonight that the dems will be scrambling now to win favor with "The Tea Party Crowd" that they dismissed before as irrelevant, right wing fanatics.

I could not be prouder of the outstanding job that the Patriots of the United States of America have done in turning out the vote for this election and in informing the public of the truth in Washington.

Again I repeat, the United States of America was an accident of history. We were never supposed to exist, we were certainly never supposed to lead the world out of tyranny and into freedom. We the Conservatives were written off in '08, "The Conservative Movement is Dead". Unless I am mistaken, the Conservative Wing of the Republican Party just got its second wind and it's gale force and building!

We the people of the traditional values of America, who revere God, country, and family and the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are now standing, mobilizing, and are shaking the ground beneath our feet as we begin the march to take back our country, one liberal, progressive, arrogant, self-serving, constituent-ignoring politician at a time!

May God bless every one of you and your continued efforts to restore the freedom He granted to every citizen in America and across the globe. Limited government, limited spending, strong military, individual freedom!
One word, woooooooooooooooooohooooooooooooooooooooooo.....
Yes! Phil Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo..hooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!

GOP Sweep Imperils Obamacare

Chris Christie's gutsy win in New Jersey puts the arrogant big spender Jon Corzine in his place. But it is the election in Virginia that probably has more to say to marginal Democratic congressmen who are considering how to vote on health care reform.

Obviously Christie's victory is a body blow to Obama after Corzine outspent the Republican by 5:1. Corzine's defeat sends a message that the nation is moving sharply against Obama.

But it is the Virginia results that are the most important. More than 80 Democratic congressmen and 20 senators come from states that McCain carried in 2008. For them, the sudden switch in Virginia, a swing state that Obama actually carried, heralds tough political times ahead.

New Jersey is the quintessential blue state. If it goes Republican, blue-state congressmen need not worry. Their districts are likely still safe. But when a Republican in Virginia wins by twenty points, it sends a message to red-state Democratic Congressmen to take cover.

Polls indicate a declining level of popular approval of the Obama policies (Rasmussen shows his job approval at 46 percent), but to see actual Democrats losing or barely squeaking out victories in solidly blue states sends a far clearer message to the Democrats in Congress.

Until last night, Democratic moderates, the so-called blue dogs, could bask in the light of their candidate’s success in 2008. But now, they must hear hoof beats behind them.

The party discipline on which Obama depends to pass a healthcare program that Americans reject by 55 to 42 percent (Rasmussen again) will only work if beleaguered Democratic congressional incumbents can wrap themselves in Obama’s cloak and tough out the popular criticism. But the limits of Obama’s drawing power are readily apparent in the Republicans’ 20-point victory in Virginia and the race in New Jersey.

In the coming weeks, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Majority Leader Harry Reid will be asking their troops to cast potentially career-ending votes for healthcare changes, medicare cuts, higher taxes, and fines on the uninsured. Whether they cast those votes depends on their faith in Obama’s drawing power.

But, the votes in Virginia, in particular, show the limits of Obama’s appeal. The new governor, Bob McDonnell won the Attorney General’s race in the last election by a few tenths of a percent over the same opponent. Now, to coast to so huge a victory in the swing state of Virginia has to send a message to red-state Democratic congressmen: Obama may be able to survive in the deep water into which he is leading his party, but you can’t.

The election of 2009 is far more than a contest for two governorships. It is really more in the nature of a British by-election, sending a signal of how the public is reacting to Obama’s radical agenda. Red State Democratic congressman should take heed.
