Bill, this is something you need to know. FORGET BLAMING PRESIDENT BUSH!!!! We Patriots know he made mistakes, but because the demons cannot stand on honesty, principle, integrity and support our Constitution, they name call and blame our President. What tiny little minds.

President Bush has been voted by hundreds of American history professors as the worst President in modern times. His disastrous reign resulted in our almost recreating the Great Depression, and, of course, he began two wars which continue on today, having cost several thousands of American lives, and billions of dollars borrowed not counted on the federal budget, which, according to some analysts, our citizens will never be able to repay in our lifetimes.

Dear Donna.....Thanks for the invitation to "love it or leave it." In case you have not noticed, we live in a pluralistic society, where many different political perspectives exist together. I am always amused at how neo-conservatives like to deal in black and white dichotomies.....either you are a "patriot" or a communist. We liberals are patriots, just like you, except that we see a vision of the U.S. as a nation where there is more economic justice, where corporations do not rule the political system. We do not desire communism or any other form of totalianarism. Just like you, we believe in a representative democracy.
Yes, we lost....for now.....but, after voters see how well the GOP treats them for the next two years, they will shift back to the Democrats.

Clint.....A little lesson in rhetoric. In logic, what you have set up is what is called a "false dichotomy," or an extreme statement which does not account for subtle variations. In other words, an either/or situation which is invalid. Also, you need to define your terms, like American Patriot and liberal. Last, if you want to refer to these terms that you previously used, then AP will be known as the former and liberal as the latter. The way you reversed them is almost amusing, since it tends to support my point of view....

Well Bill, the fact that hundreds of Liberal History professors say Bush is the worst President doesn't really mean squat.. I could find you hundreds of respected Conservative professionals that would say Carter was... you make the claim that neo-con's are partisan, would the same not be said about neo-libs?
You and your ilk blame Bush for all the ills of the last few years and in part you are correct, he did give in to big corporations but he also gave in to the liberal agenda, it wasn't Bush who caused housing market debacle that led to this recession and you are aware of it, it was Barney Frank and his cronies, they forced banks to give mortgages to those that could ill afford them and gave gaurantee's to the banks should they default Uncle Sam would take care of them... remember you and yours had control of congress, both houses... so your slight of hand doesn't work, unfortunately for you people are now finding their sources of info away from the MSM so you have lost your propaganda tool, it has become ineffectual...
The reality of life is nothing is free, you and your ilk wish to give everything away to those who don't deserve it, are not appreicative of it and think its their right.
You can point to big corporations and the money men all you want, but the fact is we denounce them as vehmently as do you, you can't throw that in our faces anymore because we wish to get rid of them as feverently as we wish to get rid of your type of politics...
Your form of politics is corrupt to the core, it is based on a venal selfish belief that your votes and voice is more important than anyone elses, your well oil propaganda machine is breaking down, your elite friends in congress and the WH are being seen for what they are, corrupt, arrogant individuals who think they are royalty.
As for your personal history, we all have stories we can tell, I came from nothing, worked hard, educated myself, served in the miltary seen war, came home and got on with my life, I used self dicipline and a focused effort to live the American dream, nobody owes me squat, I was guaranteed Life, Liberty and the Pursuit Of Happiness, no-where does it say I am entitled to anything other than that.
So no I don't want diddly from the Government other than it does its duty to defend our country, secure our borders, remove illegal aliens. That is their obligation and duty under the Constitution and the oath of office they swore to, they are in derelictiction of this duty and should be held accountable, then they can remove themselves from our lives and let us get on with rebuilding our country because my friend they are most certainly not capable of it.

The fawning media will fabricate poll after poll with suspect internals (till 11.2) to influence non-thinking voters on the fence…
The national dem0-socialists will continue to avoid defending their massive bills (4ever)…
The unions will do anything without ethical boundaries to help the socialist-demo party…
The dem0-socialists will continue to hamper military voting (4ever)…
The dem0-socialists will contest by any means most elections lost by under 10,000 votes (finding stacks of ballots, etc. in 2010)…
The fawning media will start a campaign of “sack cloth & ashes” horrors after the Republicans take the House (starts 11.3)…
The radical Obama will not give and inch and continue to “look for demons” to cover his socialist policy failures…
The media will suddenly discover the “parade of victims” of the economy they could not find in 2010 (starts 2011)…
Lies will be the order of the day as freezes becomes cuts and COL raises become cuts to the fawning media (starts 2011)…
The fawning media will have new sky high political-economic standards and deadlines they abandoned the past 2 years as far as recovery…
The fawning media will discover investigative journalism as Repubs get many aggressive sarcastic exams Dems never experienced in 2010…
The racist and poverty pimps will emerge like groundhogs from hibernation to blame this “uncaring Republican congress” (2011)…
Protesting groups will again be noble and wonderful humans covered like rock stars week after week with nary a negative word (2011)…
Transparency and leaks will take on new lives of their own as tools by the media to hammer the Republican congress (2011)…
If you were an adult in 1994 just rerun the tape…its all there…only we are not as deprived of truth now so its gonna be a harder “sell”.

Bill, by your actions today you appear to be intent on sparking conflict rather than contributing to discussions. Anyone that has been a member here since last May as you have should by now have a pretty good understanding of what socialism is and how this administration has taken us in a direction that would ultimately lead us directly into socialism as a form of government (modeled after the European countries -- who by the way have not been very successful at making it work, either). There are MANY discussion on TCUnation regarding what constitutes socialism, Communism/Marxism, etc and you can find those without much effort. It is unnecessary for others to have to "define" these forms of government or ideology when it has already been done ad nauseum in many places on the site.
Starting and participating in discussions is encouraged on TCUnation. Questions are often a great way to learn if one truly does not know. But the asking of questions and posting comments for the purpose of inciting controversy or arguments is against our terms-of-service, just so you are aware.
