I don't think it should be just be a Democrats VS. Republicans either...but....if Ted Kennedy is considered one of their greatest....then its simple, Democrats suck....

Please do not stop reading this until you get to the end.. I grew up in a family where IF YOU WERE A TRUE AMERICAN YOU WERE A DEMOCRAT.. That other party was not for the people but for business and big money..
I only knew what I had been told and back than.. well you did not go against family and that included voting... I was groomed to be a strong Democrat and never questioned it.
I married, grew up becoming a Military Wife and my eyes were opened to the world. I have no idea when it happened but over the years I saw when it came to picking our leaders, reps for office I did my research before placing my vote. I found out that when running for office many of them are like used car salesmen who will tell you everything they think you want to hear just to sale you a car you are not sure you really want.
It has been over 30 years now that I rarely will vote for a Democrat. Not because of his Party but because I do not feel he will have the best interest of the people in his heart and be strong enough to rep the people and not vote party line. I quietly listen to my friends and family and have noticed slowly they all have switched over from VOTING FOR THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY to voting for the best person suited for the job(which 99.9 times is a Republican).
2010 Election? There is one Democrat who is has done a fantastic job who is in the state Leg as our rep and I do plan to vote for him again. I know my reps in Congress who happen to be Republican and I will vote for them again as well. They all have voted against so many Demo bills and are not afraid to listen to the people who placed them into office to be their voice..
When an Elected Official stops being the voice of those who voted for him.. that person needs to be removed from that office.. They are not there to push personal interests but to be the voice of the ones who trusted them to do so! All of those town meetings Proved there were many who were not there to listen to the people, they said our voices needed to be silence, that they knew what was best for us, we didn't?... name calling and abusing those who placed them into office was a very BAD move.. I do not care what party they belong to.. they were not doing the job they were elected to do.. period.

I think that the dems could lose power, but are the republicans going to listen to the people this time or the media. The republican party leadership in Washington don't seem to be able to stick the the right principals. But, I still believe that the American people have awaken to the liberal threat of maxism. Chairman Obama has to be stopped or at least slowed down.

with stimulus,cap and trade now our healthcare bill most these havvnt been read so i lose all confidence in our not democrat but progressive congress. time to get rid of most of them get new leaders or chairman for each committee!

The Rep have to pick up 78 seats and hold on to the ones they have in order to regain the majority. I believe in voting for the person, but the Dems have a radical as speaker of the house. She will not let the Rep present amendments to bills. She shuts them out. So we have to help the Rep win back the house so we can get our country back. As you can see the Bluedog Dems talk conservative, but they are Dems first and foremost. They will vote the way Nancy Pelosi tells them to.

No I do not believe they will lose power! Promise all to everyone and they will believe it. The American culture is dead as evidenced by what we are seeing today. We are so deficient in history and culture that we can't help but be replaced. We are being replaced by all the cultures that have sought refuge in this great country. Our politicians are too busy "making a deal" rather than doing what is right and moral. Anytime I quote one of the founding fathers or a specific piece of text from our founding documents, it is if I am speaking another language. The Federalist Papers are clear as to the role of the federal government, as is the constitution, where did we go wrong? How long will we remain silent?
I find it odd that the very reasons that people come here are what we are doing away with. The end of an era, 1/20/09.

The Democrats are already failing and people are taking notice.
I know it's hard for the kool-aid drinkers to admit they were wrong, but it doesn't change the fact they were and we already knew it.
This Election was a mockery of democracy.
When people who hate us celebrate the President, i believe that made it clear we had a problem from the get go. (let me insert my "i told you so" grin)
No wonder they don't want democracy.... look what we frickin did with ours! No one in their right mind would want this.
If Terrorists are happy about it, it's probably not something you want to be doing. lol DUH!
Ive had it with the Liberal circle jerk going on.
