A Townhall Crowd Silenced
I am withholding the names of the people who send me this.
To all concerned patriots. A woman and I went to the so called "town
hall" meeting today in Worcester (Mass). Congressman McGovern was joined by Richard
Neal. It was standing room only. It was such an orchestrated dog and pony
show it was ridiculous. We were outraged, as were many other people. As soon
as they began, they announced that questions that had been submitted on
index cards would be addressed at some point during the "discussion" That
brought an outcry from those of us who wanted to ask some real questions.
There were a few, particulary one very outspoken woman, who sat down front,
who came right out and stated that she was all for the healthcare plan.
Every time one of the many who are opposed tried to speak, she basically led
the chant of "shut up" and sit down. At one point people were told that they
would be removed from the proceedings if they continued to shout out
questions. Then they agreed to take questions if we wrote them on index
cards and handed them to people who were posted there to collect them. There
was no opportunity to get up and speak. It was the most blatant example of
the Obama lovers deliberately trying to silence any who dared to disagree.
We were also told that we could not bring our cameras into the "meeting" One
man had to take his all the way back to his car. This was not a meeting, it
was an informercial and propaganda tour. People better wake up and start
doing something to stop this, or we are all doomed. Neither McGovern or Neal
truly answered questions from us, other than the usual evasive liberal
rhetoric.

Must be the orders from the emperor. Anyone going to the few town hall meetings (Democrats have restricted them - damage control) should be prepared to be muzzled and loose their free speech. Since when can't someone take a camera, video recorder to a public meeting?

So, next time we should be ready for this. We could all in unison call out our questions loudly over and over, until they answer or do not answer. Hopefully, someone films this. If about 1,000 people all do this at once, what can they do? Not much, unless they outnumber us. We have freedom of speech. Let us speak. We need to formulate questions in order of priority and write them down or memorize them in case opportunity arises. Maybe somebody has a tiny "spy camera" that is unfriskable. Somebody out there has to have the technology or maybe someone knows someone from the news media who agrees with us and would hop on this chance to record it all as it is for posterity.

When are WE going to have our own town meeting? We can be in control of the questions and answers. If the right people from BOs camp don't show to answer us then people will question why. We need to bring this out and allow the general public to see what they are really made of. Where is GOP leadership in all this? Where is our "commercial" to answer back to that joke I heard today calling us "the mob"? I really, really want to know who from the GOP is going to suck it up and get out there and lead. If not, then maybe some other party. It could be time if they don't get out there and represent me and my family soon. What in the H are they waiting for?

I found out Obama is going to hold a townhall meeting in Portsmouth, NH on the 11th. Time and location has not been disclosed yet. Oh, yeah. It should be interesting.

I haven't been to any meetings yet, haven't been able to find one in our area. But i don't know if i'd go, i don't think my heart could take it! ha! My blood pressure is high enough!
