Are you a Conservative Blogger?
Did you know you could use TCUnation as a blogging platform?
When you post an article under Blogs or even Forums you are essentially blogging. But are you getting the most out of your blogging?
Think about it. You spend time writing your thoughts don't you want someone to read them?
Here are a few tips for using TCUnation as a blogging platform.
-Take some time on "My Page". If you want people to see your blog drag the "My Blogs" box top the top of the page.
-Write what people want to read. Yes I know that sounds like the obvious but really think about what other people will read. Also remember if it's too long it probably won;t get read at all.
-Let people know about your blog! Include your profile address in emails. Once you write a blog post take at least 5-10 minutes to let people know it's there! Just copy the URL into an email and send to your friends, family etc...
-Use the SHARE button. Click on the Share button at the bottom of your post. You will have the option to post to facebook, MySpace and other Social Network services.
-Burn that Feed. This is a little more advanced but you can create your own newsfeed with your blog. Click on "My Blog" and scroll to the bottom of the page. Click on the blue RSS icon.
That will take you to your RSS feed. Copy the URL into newsreaders or you can burn your feed on feedburner.
-Tag Tag Tag , yes make sure you tag your post. Use keywords that pertain to your post.
