The GOP has come to the conclusion that Sarah Palin is the frontrunner of the Republican party. Do you think that " I can see Russia from my house" will come back to hunt her? Do you really think that she will make a good candidate?

Due to recent polls "any unamed Rep has a 55% to 60% chance of beating B.O." Will she be the likely choice? Of course. Do I feel she has the exp. to do the job? Not really. Sarah Palin will be able to do the job, I'm not sure if it's the right time for her in 2012. I very much agree with her veiws and policies, it's just a simple truth that the Presidents have to be reactive to unforseen events to be true leaders.
Twice they tried to behead Bush, once with 911 and then with Katrina. Both times the Media was screaming he didn't move fast enough and didn't do enough. I am not overly confident that Sarah can make the tuff choice at the drop of a hat. That's what the job calls for and many before her failed at such times.
If she wins the ticket I will have no troubles giving her my vote. She got it last election when she was an unkown.
If she wins, it will be because people were voting against King Obama rather than for her. I am as anti-Obama as anyone else, and I would vote for Palin if she was my only alternative to him. Unfortunately, I don't think she has the depth to make a good President, and a good President is what this country needs. I would vote for Tina Fey before voting for King "O", but I am hoping that Republicans can come up with someone with a real plan of action for the retaking of America instead of one with just a few laughable soundbites.
I don’t understand where you guys are coming from about Sarah Palin, as she is smart and competent. She has more experience than Obama had. George Bush sure wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer, and outside of illegal immigration, and spending like a drunken Democrat, did a pretty good job. Bill Clinton was just the governor of Arkansas, hell, I could be the governor of Arkansas, all you have to be is a crook! Jimmy Carter was supposed to have been brilliant, and he was a disaster. What I like about Palin, is that she is a decent, Christian woman, with a lot of common sense. The three geniuses, Nixon, Carter and Clinton, were self-centered and were always concerned about how things affected them, instead of protecting the public, and they all turned out to be disasters. Give me a good ol’ downhome common sense person over a genius anytime!
Sarah appears to be in it just just for the money; Just like Rush, she stirs up emotions.. people buy her story..
She quit the State of Alaska because her publicist told her that she could make much more money doing public appearances and books. When asked about her foreign experiance acumen, she stated that she could see Russia from her house. When asked what kinds of materials that she read on a regular basis, there was a blank look...
Her household will probably have more than one illegitamate child by the time she runs..
She is not really up to doing the job...
American Man, how do you know what Sarah Palin’s publicist told her, were you there? The things you said about her are mere speculation. I speculated in this forum once that environmentalists sabotaged the oil rig in the Gulf, and I was severely chastised by DaveG. Where is DaveG when you really need him?
Well... What do you think her publicist told her? Daves' probably busy reading her book.. lol
You know what I said is true George. The woman is a dimwhit, and wont even come close to winning in an election. Wheres Richard Nixon when you need him?
American Man, checked your bio, and the fact that you believe in Keynesian economics tells me all I need to know about you, as you would fit right in with the current Administration. And, the blather you spew about Gov. Palin is the talking points of the mainstream media and Democratic operatives. I think your Yin is wagging your Yang!

Yeah... Dow is only up like 2000 points since bottoming out around 8000 or less. Naaa!! Keynesian Theory economics dont work!! Nope... John was one smart "Brit". You my friend must read up on that!...
Yeah the Dow went from 858 points in 1975 to over 10,000 by 2005, on the back of the working class. The reason the DOW went up was not because of Keynesian economics, but because the corporations transferred all of their manufacturing jobs overseas, and outsourced their white collar jobs to India and China. Over the thirty year period, 1975-2005, the DOW went up 1224% while working class wages in the U.S. went up only 382%, and at the same time, workers’ wages in other developed countries went up 500-700 percent. I thought you Keynesians were for the working class?
no
When Scot Brown won in Mass, I received a few phone calls. I was asked what I thought about 2012. Now, at this time everything was running a-muck, people were ticked, we could see our country was heading in the wrong direction, so, my reply was, You know, something to think about would be a Sarah Palin/Scot brown ticket, might work.

Sarah Palin has moxie, will tell you like it is and does not stray or stutter away from her point. So she can see Russia from her house, Hell, I can see the moon from my house. Ok, let's get some facts. Number 1, The media has beat her up every witch-a-way, what else can they throw at her. Number 2, she is still a factor to deal with, and won't go away. Number 3, the one I like, she still has that little grin on her face witch to me says, How do you like me now.........

As far as Scot Brown, no comment at this time. I still am looking at Jeb. In this post I hope I did not ruffle to many feathers and if I got a few, well, this is my story and I'm sticking to it................................

OLY
Awwww!! You just got the hots for her Oly!! Well, she is good lookin ! But dumb as a sack of rocks...
