The Politico reports that House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer predicts, "We'll have the votes" on the healthcare bill by Sunday.

If its not in the constitution its not legal. Just say NO. Its time we just sit down and tell them all to go to hell. They are all traitors and one day will be on trial for these crimes. They all took an Oath to defend the constitution make them pay for not keeping there oath.

I have never seen so much corruption and evilness as we are seeing right now. I truly wish we could vote them all out and start fresh and let people like Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee screen the future ones. All they do is look out for themselves and get as much money and power with all the perks.

I don't doubt this our taxes will be paying off votes, isn't this what thugs do? Make them an offer they can't refuse? I wonder if they will put me in jail or garnish my wages if I refuse to pay for this so called government ins.?

They will NOT put me in jail ... alive.
Screw the government! I would rather go Home to be with the Lord than live through what is coming down the road for my beloved country.

Why do you insist on supporting the gov't. attempt to take away our freedom to chose whatever health care we want!? Right now we can choose any kind of health care from any company we want, or no health care at all - it's our choice. Health care isn't a "right", it's a luxury. No one is entitled to it.

Andrew - I disagree with you....I do not believe healthcare is a right. Neither is owning a home, but our government asserted that idea on its citizens in the 90's and we all said, 'that's great!, EVERYONE should live the American Dream and own their home!!.
Hence, the failure of the housing market. I could go on with other "rights" the government has graciously extended to the citizens with devastating results, but the list is way too long.
I do agree that health insurance is a luxury. I've worked very hard my entire independent life to maintain my health insurance coverage. I was brought up to believe that one needed to have ample education to find a job that offered health insurance as a benefit. I don't believe we should require our citizens to purchase health insurance, but I do believe if you want healthcare, you should pay for it.
I also disagree that more regulation of fees private industries (any industry) can charge their clients is not the solution to lowering those costs. I own a business that requires goverment approval for the fees I charge. I say, let the market decide - haven't you ever seen price wars? Private industries should have the ability to raise or lower their profit margin.
Another way to reduce costs is to eliminate the rampant fraud that's occuring in all areas of government. We have criminals running Social Security, Medicare, Fannie/Freddie, the Federal Reserve -I could go on and on. They have found all sorts of ways to steal our money and we have let them.
Conservatives going pale at the mention of socialism - I agree - I go pale, get an upset gut, shiver and feel like crying. The shame is that more Americans don't see the liberties they will lose under socialism.
My "indocrination" occurred from 1965-1978. I know the public schools I attended were not pushing their conservative views. In fact, quite the opposite. My conservative views have come from my parents. I don't fear the government - but I'm very certain that I don't trust the government. I'm also very certain that I will ALWAYS vote in favor of private business over government-run business.
And we don't need government to provide "valuable oversight to entities that seek to take advantage of us", we need to use the brains God gave us to assure that we're not taken advantage of. Which is exactly what our government is doing to the citizens.
As to "private industries whose only concern is profit".....what? I'm not working just so I can get up early every morning. I don't think my employees are either.
I'll close with the frequent response I received from my Senator, Ben Nelson.....
I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

How in the Name of God can't we get rid of this arrogant, corrupt, hateful person who some people say is our president. He is not my President he is taking the USA with the goofy stiff faced Nancy P and Harry Reid. Americans We have to fight this Health bill if it passes we are doomed. We need to get him and all his corruption and corrupt followers out of office.
