Email from David Axelrod
Early this morning the White House posted on it's blog an email sent out by David Axelrod, the Senior adviser to Obama. Axelrod is proposing to start a "chain email" to debunk healthcare myths.
I read through it hoping to find more info on the evil doctors "Cash for Feet" program. You know, where doctors get $50,000 per foot they wack off. Nothing... :-(
I also wonder how many emails from David Axelrod will get forwarded to the White House Phishing, oh I'm sorry, fishing program. What's next White House, using some country in Africa to send out "fake" emails scamming people.
Here's a translation of Axelrod's email...
I've translated the meaning in italics.
Dear Friend, I'm a nice guy if you agree with me.
This is probably one of the longest emails I’ve ever sent, but it could be the most important. My job depends on it Across the country we are seeing vigorous debate about health insurance reform. Angry Mobs of Senior citizens are actually questioning our authority.
Unfortunately, some of the old tactics we know so well are back — even the viral emails that fly unchecked and under the radar, spreading all sorts of lies and distortions.
Yes we invented the tactics, I'm using viral just to scare you
As President Obama said at the town hall in New Hampshire, "where we do disagree, let's disagree over things that are real, not these wild misrepresentations that bear no resemblance to anything that's actually been proposed."
You know like UPS and Fedex are great and the Post Office sucks
So let’s start a chain email of our own. You know like they do in Africa
At the end of my email, you’ll find a lot of information about health insurance reform, distilled into 8 ways reform provides security and stability to those with or without coverage, 8 common myths about reform and 8 reasons we need health insurance reform now.
Sorry I didn't address the "Cash for Feet" program

I wonder how many people received this email? I got it at two different email addresses. I have previously received a number of emails from the White House. It seems that they are harvesting email addresses of those people who contact any member of the administration (or it could even be the previous administration, I don't know for sure) and using them to compile a mailing list.
In my experience that is unethical, to say the very least. One could contend that it is an invasion of privacy or even take it as far as spying on us as individuals. if you wrote a letter to the White House in the past, and the content was, let us say, critical, would you expect your address to be put on a "list"? I don't think so.
This administration is displaying all the worrying signs of behaving more like the National Socialist Party of 1930's Germany.
Today, Fox News' Major Garrett, their White House senior correspondent, challenged Robert Gibbs to explain why people had received this email who claim never to have been in touch with the White House. I suggest that it may have been from the files the Bush administration left behind.

You may be right about harvesting. I sent Mr. Bush several e-mails letting him know that I was praying for him, and that I was one of many who supported him. After the election fiasco, I started getting those e-mails from "the president." I unsubscribed.

Earl B I couldn't have put it any better. When I saw the snippet between Robert Gibbs and Major/Fox news, I couldn't believe how arrogant Gibbs was. And he sure couldn't give a straight answer to major. The White House has it in for Fox News because Fox has a louder voice than the libs like.
It wouldn't surprise me if the White House comes out with a "Talk Radio" Czar to get rid of the likes of Hannity, Beck, Limbaugh, Laura and the rest of the conservatives. That would cause a MAJOR fight.

I had a nasty thought. If one were to stir up mobs and cause riots, wouldn't that give one the "right" to call in the military? Wouldn't one then be able to say some what self-righteously that in order to stop the anarchy he "had" to implement martial law? Scary thought. I wanted to post this to the angry mob string but I can't find it for some reason.

I also got an email from David Axelrod and I retorted back by writting the White house at whitehouse.gov and gave them a piece of my mind! You know I am probably going to be fished/phished now :P But i really DONT CARE!! they can all go to Hell for putting this country in jeapardy of its freedoms. And here is what i wrote:
Listen, I am a born again Christian
I am pro life.
I love God more than Country or anyone.
I love freedom
I am against homosexuality. The Holy Bible specifically states man should not lie down with man nor woman with woman. Go check it out yourself!
I am against BIG Government and big spending
I am against anyone who attacks my rights, and my fellow citizens rights specified under the constitution and the Bill of Rights.
I do not support a government that ramrods information down my throat and expects me to roll over and accept it without a bat of an eye.
I do not support Mr. Obama because of his liberal agenda and ideology
I do not support liberal congressmen/woman and Senators
I do not support anyone who does not love Israel and revere Israel as Gods own. (according to the Bible) it does state that.
I do not support a Government running corporations and associations. (Car industry,Medical ect.)
We the people have the right to choose what we want, not what our government tells us! If I wanted to be told by the government what to do, what to buy, what to do about my health ect. I would move to China or Iran!!!
SO PLEASE desist from sending me emails about issues I do not support!
I will never support big Government.
I will never support any issue that goes against God Almighty and the Holy Bible.
I as a citizen of the United States of America am ashamed of my country at this point in time.

I also got the letter and the one before it,The frist one I wrote him a scorcher back for him to relay to obama I told just how I felt about health care, spending and expecting us to pay for are our children and I told him untill he give us prove I would not give him the honor of calling him President and that meant real records and not fake,I told him if he ever call or let one of his bozos call us names that he would be talking to my lawyer,I went on andon like amad woman. I really vented.since then I have thought my computer was hacked,it has been deleteing thing when I am writting and acting as if it has a mind of it own but if it is I invited him to if he was so interested in what I had to say, at least that way I would have his attention, my computer keeps making a clicking sound that never happen before and it always worked perfect,but when I got the one today I decline again telling him what gave then the stupid Idea I would help push his bill to freinds or any one else.
Please tell me if you start having the same problems with your computer,I tried downloading another spy ware but it was stopped and my computer would not except it for some reason,I really don't know what it is, I just wonder if I am losing it.

It is written: "Be sure your will find you out." Have you ever heard so much stumbling over whether the Obamanation is keeping a list of names on the e-mails people send in.
It has to, for legal reasons, they cannot purge e-mails coming into the White House Lying again!

I got the email also, I use it as info on the BS they sling. And yes they are probably thinking that if they can control a small riot (started by the SEIU or AFL-CIO) and suck in some patriots then they have the start on the internment camps that they have backhandedly hinted at. Don't count anything out with this crew BO is ruthless, but, he's a city punk, he can't handle those nasty country patriots. Here's something to think about, remember the DATE in New York for BO and the Mrs's read on it came from a military guy I trust with my life.

First, let me say that I've moved three presidents up to now and I've seen incredible waste. But, the "new" guy really takes the cake.
I don't have an issue with the President promising his wife dinner and a show or that he even takes his wife out. But, when I saw the news say that the date cost $24,000, here's what you DON'T know.
Three days before "dinner" a C-17 flew Marines and the helicopter maintenance equipment to JFK Airport. The day before "dinner" I flew the USSS [United States Secret Service] and the motorcade to JFK Airport
Our crew of 5 spent two days and nights at the Hilton in Times Square . My hotel bill: $621.66 plus $64 a day in per diem. The USSS guys were at a different Hilton in NYC, so figure that cost another $14,000 (or so) plus per diem. The Marines had to have cost as much and were there four days, so figure another $55,000 plus per diem (for 44 Marines).
We were supposed to fly the motorcade back and go home, but the Air Force was so short of C-17's that we were re-tasked to take the motorcade back, return to JFK and take the helicopter back to Quantico .
When we got back to JFK, while the pilot was turning the plane around to park, he noticed a rotor blade sticking out of the hangar where the helicopter was parked and informed me that either it wasn't ready to transport or it was flying home. After shutting down I walked over to the hangar and to my surprise I find FIVE helicopters, not ONE. We're obviously not transporting five big helicopters. I went and talked to the Marines guarding the "fleet" and found that they were flying all five helicopters home and we were only transporting the Marines and the maintenance equipment. After talking to the Marine(s) in charge, I was told that the White House requested FIVE helicopters. The Marines told me that they spent all morning trying to figure out how much it cost them to come and said they figured it cost them $140,000 to stay there (I don't know where they came up with that) and the trip's total had to be about $1,000,000.
We heard that the President didn't use Air Force One (the 747) so I asked if he came in on one of the 757's. I was told that he came in on THREE Air Force Lear jets.
So, date night consisted of:
2 C-17's flying three missions, 3 Lear jets, 5 Helicopters, Presidential Motorcade, 44 Marines, more than 20 USSS personnel on our plane. Who knows what it cost the NYPD and NY Port Authority (at the airport) in overtime.
These are the same people that chastised the automobile CEO's for using their aircraft. It further proves that the media only use the facts that make the President look good and hide any facts that will detract from his persona.
Is this the 'change' we expected?
Talk with friends and those who are not blinded by charisma. Many folks I know who voted for Obama are very disappointed and sorry they did so.
