Enough People STILL Don't Get It, Yet!!!!!
I just read this online article from the Wall Street Journal and unfortunately, people still don't get it. Does the ship absolutely have to sink before they find out that Obama and his crew are leading us into the iceberg. We as conservatives have to step up our efforts. The only way we are going to get this country back is by taking up the mantle of Paul Revere and warn people of the damage that is yet to come. If we don't get REAL conservatives in Washington in 2010, we may as well head for the lifeboats. One effort to warn people is an operation called Operation: Facebook Paul Revere. It is an operation that one other Facebook friend of mine and I have initiated. It is an operation that requires posting a news article or commentary about how our government is damaging our country to your Facebook profile. When you do this it shows up on your Facebook friends' home page when they log in. The more people that get involved and create a Facebook profile, the better our chances of getting the word out. In addition to this, what other ideas does anybody have to get the word out and warn people about the damage to come. I am totally open to suggestions. Thank you and God bless.

How do wake up a bunch of spoiled brats who want Big Government to hold there hand, tuck them in bed at night and tell them that everything is going to be alright? My biggest fear is that the country we know may change overnight because people are to afraid to take care of themselves.

I totally feel your frustration. Maybe we need to start targeting groups on social networks that cater to the young people who put Obama in and start posting links to educate them to the damage that their new President and government is causing to our country. What do you think?

That may work; however, if people don't want to acknowledge the truth, then they won't... As sad as it is, they see only what they want to see.
Teens seem to be this way more so than adults... Like, when a teen defends their favorite singer or actor, even if said singer or actor is mediocre. It's the same with politics; even if the politician/philosophy is wrong, they'll defend them no matter what.

Then perhaps we need to go back in time and remember what it was like to be them at their ages. Put it in terms of parental authority. Trust me if there is anything that will hit home it will be kids feeling oppressed by their parents or by some other authority figure. That is one idea, do you have any other ideas to get our message across?

Is there a way to post it on Sarah Palin's facebook page? She has something like 500,000 hits. Does that mean that 500,000 people would be able to view it, or not? Because I don't have a facebook page, I'm not sure how it works, so forgive me for my ignorance. Also, Team Sarah has 67,000 members and some of them may have facebook pages to forward it to. That's www.teamsarah.org

That's great! As I mentioned I have an operation called Operation: Facebook Paul Revere. I think it would be great to get some of the people on Team Sarah on board for this. What Facebook Paul Revere is meant to do is wake people up that aren't aware of the damage that will potentially be done by a lot of these policies coming down the pipe.
