Forget the "Drones" Save the ones you can
Okay people the time is upon us. In just a few months we will see an all out battle for the White House. Obama will have money, media and just about everything at his disposal for an assault on the Republican nominee.
We must get behind "whoever" is the Republican nominee. If your guy is not the nominee, this is not the election to write-in someone just to make your point. WE MUST DEFEAT OBAMA.
That being said, focus your efforts on those that can be reached. The "drones" , as Mark Levin calls them, are a lost cause. Let them be. Talk to those who have an open mind and can see past the media hype.
So, how are you going to reach out?

I truly do not see a difference between the two men.
Then you're a fool and Obama's tool, and you will have aided and abetted if he gets re-elected.
Even that being the case, I would vote for Romney every time. He cannot possibly be worse for this country than Obama.
Romney's religion, which has been much-maligned by the lib media, is the one thing about him that I find somewhat comforting. You only need to look at politics in Utah and Idaho to see what I mean. The fact that Romney would stand up to the media and defend his beliefs puts him head-and-shoulders above Obama in any reasonable comparison.
I'm really, really sick of hearing this crap. Every time someone says this, it just proves that they REALLY don't give a s*** about what happens to this country.

The fact that Mitt's father was born in Mexico. The fact that Mitt is a RINO. I will not vote for someone simply because there's an "R" after his name.
It's common knowledge that candidates swing to their party's position(s) during the primaries, then tack center.
Mr. Romney's political history speaks volumes. And, if that's not good enough for you, just the fact that Mr. Romney only has 42 members here at TCUnation should tell you something, Griff.

Maybe he is a RINO. Lord knows it wouldn't be the first time. McCain falls into that same category. Did you vote for him in '08? If not, you helped get Obama elected the first time. Congratulations. How's that working out for you?
This site gets less traffic than my driveway. The fact that Mr. Romney only has 42 members here at TCUnation tells me exactly jack.

Principles are really great, but in my opinion political ideals are not the same as moral values. (This is something the liberals do not tend to fundamentally understand...those who honestly cling to their idealist ideas, at any rate.) Politics are steeped in this real broken world that we have to live in, which means there is only so much we can do when praticality steps in to become a factor. What is the point of writing in Candidate X when there is no chance for that person? So your voice can be heard in future generations? So they know that at least some people in the here and now don't agree with either side? That might be a noble stance--but come on, who in the future is going to look at that and care? What kind of a "difference" are you really making? To my way of thinking, that stance succeeds in only one thing--to ensure that the liberal mob gains even more ground.
There is surely much more to be done than merely voting for the presidency.
I am going to be honest and say that I don't know that much about becoming politically involved, but I do know that too many people pussyfoot around politics, not even talking about it to their friends and family for fear of agruments and disagreement. It is uncomfortable for people to even *think* about these things, at all. I'm tired of so much opinion flying around without relying on facts. I'm tired of thinking about how people I know merely accept what is on the news without thinking further about it. The least I can do, I feel, is to start more discussions and at least get someone thinking beyond what they have thought before. The liberal position cannot stand people thinking for themselves. :) Thoughts and ideas can spread like wildfire, which is something liberals know all too well.

Romney may not be the "conservative" that we all wanted, but he is certainly better than what we have in office right now ... Like him or not, consider the alternative and hold your nose or pinch it shut when you vote for him. Please do not sit out this election and hand 0bama a vote by proxy or absentee, folks. We can't survive 4 more years of this man at the helm ... Just pass the clothes pins and make sure you vote him out in November!

The worst conservative/socialists were FDR and Hitler. The Bush family dynasty runs a tight third place. Romney Care is no different than Obama Care because Romney is no different than Obama. The Republican and Democrat Parties have THE SAME AGENDA. TOTAL GOVERNMENT CONTROL OVER EVERYTHING including YOUR BODY. Mark my words, NO MATTER WHO WINS IN NOVEMBER, WE ALL LOSE!!! Only Ron Paul has any intention of reversing the trend but even the republicans don't really want to save this country or they would of backed the ONLY TRUE CONSTITUTIONALIST Ron Paul. How does this work? As president, assuming Ron Paul follows the Constitution, then, according to this argument, the entire Congress will oppose his agenda. If the entire Congress does oppose his agenda then they can override any of his vetoes. Thus the nation continues the march that is the conjecture here.
That would mean, if he were elected president, that Ron Paul would have to be extraordinarily persuasive in order to convince Congress that he has the answers and they follow him despite the fact that all these Republicans and Democrats have a different agenda. That leads me to wonder, if Ron Paul is so persuasive then why is it he hasn't been able to lead from Congress?I guess my basic point is that these things take a consensus and if everyone is against the president's agenda then I don't see how in a Constitutional way the president can enact an agenda. So how exactly would electing a Ron Paul change anything in the scenario where all Democrats and Republicans are intent on whatever it is they are intent upon?

Yep, the drones are a lost cause and they're good about diverting the conversation...........but I would always go back to el bozo's epic FAILure. They would bring up Romney's tax returns............I'd bring up el bozo's SEALED records.
Romney wasn't my pick but am pumped with Ryan being the VP nominee. I just hope and pray that the Ron Paul peeps don't write him in or stay home and not vote.............sheesh, I worried about this same thing right after el bozo became POTUS...........that's why I left ALL political groups and just posted news the limp brain media wouldn't report............twitter.....digg.........and fb.......I hope they will realize what is at stake if they do the two things I listed..............FOUR more years of el bozo..................and the last nail in the coffin for the USA..............my humble opinion
