Well said my friend...he was a President we could count on to keep us safe.

God Bless,
Tina
Hi Jack, I respectfully disagree with you he was a man and a President who cared about our country and the people in it. Does that mean he would always make the right choices? No President could do that they are human and they make mistakes like everyone else. When it came time for him to protect this country, he did it and we were safe and we felt safe. I don't feel safe anymore. People can say what they want about President Bush but, he made sure we stayed safe, he never went to other countries and slandered the U.S, and when something like the Ft Hood incident occured he was there to support the families. I thank you for your time.

God Bless,
Tina
Too busy giving shout outs at a press conference. Was listening to Mike Church the day after as he played Obama's remarks on the shooting. Obama cared more about some idiotic conference then our men and women in uniform. What a big difference betweet GWB and BHO. GW was more of a leader (agree or disagree w/ him) than BHO can ever hope to be.
agreed.
President Bush is an American and a Christian..that is the difference. He put our country first before anything.
President Bush was definately a man of character and determination, and I applaud him for standing for what he believed in, never wavering on the issue of protection even under the constant attacks. However his second term economically speaking, his fellow republicans in Congress, and the way his administration closed themselves off really put conservatives in a bind. The Presidency was put on a tee for Obama and the dems to hit from and it is part of the reason we are in this mess. We need to find people with the conviction, determination, and principles Bush stood for on issues like Pro-Life and security. who will apply those things to domestic (mostly economic) policy as well so conservatives and moderates alike can get behind them and have a clear alternative. When that happens we can't lose, when it does not happen we can't win.
Bush 43, once again, did what he felt was right, not what would garner him brownie points and photo ops.
He did thank God for him he is a great human being.
getting the house to pass the Healthcare bill was more important than going to Ft Hood. He was there yesterday for the memorial but that is probably for the photo op....
he chose his words very carefully never really saying the word terrorist.
There were many areas that I did not agree with Bush's policies, but when it came to the meeting with military families after instances such as Fort Hood, I have to say President Bush and Laura appeared to be there for the families. I have to commend them for their compassion.
