Counter question: Where is all the heat going from the gasoline & oil we're burning if not into the climate? (Hint: it doesn't just evaporate or disappear.)
Where does the heat go from the sun? Does it keep heating us until we boil? ( :
Bozo,(JKT) try taking a CLASS in Physics and or Heat transfer and fluid flow; especially investigate the word "Entropy"... that might explain much to you. FIRST LEARN, then comment and you might avoid making a ignorant fool of yourself thus exposing your pre-biased attitudes.
Its about the same as walking into a cold warehouse and striking a match. The heat generated by man is nothing compared to the regular heat radiation provided by the sun each day.

as far as CO2, CO 2 is a trace gas being only 0.038% of the atmosphere.Evidence suggests it has been two and three times that much in the past, with no increase in temperature. The "greenhouse gas" that warms the most is water vapor. compare how cold a clear night is compared to an overcast night. it really is that simple.
There is no credible empirical scientific evidence to support that assertion. Since we have all recently learned much of the data has been tampered with, destroyed, or excluded from the equation entirely, the "science" of anthropomorphic global warming cannot be trusted without drinking large amounts of alarmist Kool Aid. I am not prepared to do that, nor am I prepared to believe serial prevaricators Ala Al Gore (et al).
Is global warming caused by humans? First can someone show me some evidence that is not tainted or driven by someones desire for a budget increase. This whole debate is a win-win for the current officials in power. If 50 years from now the temperature trend begins to show a cooling trend, they can stand up and beat on their chest and say we fixed this re-elect us. If it shows a warming trend then they can say we are not doing enough re-elect us to do more.
Two place on earth come to mind that would indicate a rising sea level, Holland and Venice, has there been any documentaries depicting those 2 places sinking??? When I was in grade school ( late 70's) the big crisis was the coming ice age. So far this winter shows that may be more truthful.
This debate along with health-care is about power. The current party in power wants to make you,us,the population, the proletariat dependent on the government for our lives.
Take a few minutes and factor this into your household budgets 5-7000 a year for healthcare (CBO numbers) 8-10000 for Cap-n-Trade, declining value of your money, projected rising interest rates.

These are a few observations
JKT one volcano produces more polluting gases in one day than we produce in 10 years. Face it, there is something wrong when they are blaming "global warming" on not just industrial pollution, but stating the largest contributer is exhaling and farting.
Absolutely not. It's a major scam. The earth's temperature has been changing for a billion years.
Pretty arrogant of folks to believe that. And pretty naive to believe the movement's very stupid leader. When you think of the earth as a baseball and the highest mountains represented by the threads on it, the relative insignificance of humans becomes a little more clear. And when you look at the tiny clusters of humans that dot the ball, our standing in the universe comes into sharper focus. Finally, imagine placing our ball on a sunny diamond already covered by softballs, basketballs and hot air balloons. To me, the idea that humans have any effect on its temperature defies common sense. I've read the science until I'm worn out. Learning that it was tainted by charlatans was the last straw.
RE: "When you think of the earth as a baseball and the highest mountains represented by the threads on it..."

Even that overstates the significance of the mountains. The variations in the earths surface if reproduced on the scale of a baseball would be smoother than a billiards ball.
Quite right but using the featureless surface of a billiards ball frustrates the mountain metaphor. It also assumes most people imagine a correctly scaled earth, which they don't. Great point though even if it is tough to use. I'll try it straight away.
I will say a firm NO about man causing "Global Climate Change". We have evidence that shows man contributes less than 1/100th of 1%. Now Volcanoes , fires, decomposing vegetation and other stuff contributes the bulk.
