Is Obama a "natural born" citizen?
This week President Obama will celebrate a birthday - August 4th.So our poll question will deal with the "natural born" citizen issue. Some think he was born in Hawaii, some in Kenya and some think he is not eligible because his father was not a US citizen. Some think the subject should be dropped!

I sent an email to President Obama & US Attorney in DC, CD Phillips on 7-30-09. The president is a 15 year citizen of Indonesia and should not be making decisions for America.

Whether or not he is legal, he is president; and all his policies are suspect because he is hiding his records. Now we must fight what we have in policies.
There is a better way for health care than a system that takes a lot of time and money for administration costs on all levels. We can provide all the care people need without that control. We must not ignore dangers people are pointing out.

Whatever we think of Barack Obama, whatever race we are, we must call for truth to be revealed in his records to either shame the Birthers and give him honor so he can get more credibility in his proposals or to get him out of office so a deceiving administration does not take full control over us.

Since his father was a foreign national who never applied for or gotten U.S. Citizenship. Obama is not eligible to be in the White House, the Senate, yes, but not where he sits today. Using his own words, the ones he used to defend John McCain's being a citizen. "If both parents are citizens, the child is a natural born citizen, even if he or she is born outside of the country.". That can be looked up in the Congressional Record!
We use his own words to hang him with!

I suspect he is NOT. If he was why would he not release all documentation. Given what the Dems put John McCain through I think it only fair to expect Mr. Obama to provide all normal documentation in order to prove his legitimacy.

Some people believe that both parents need to be American citizens for a child to be "American." Simply look at the illegal aliens from Mexico who sneek over the border just to have an "American" child - those parents aren't American - they are Mexican.
When the illegal Mexicans have babies born on American soil - they are called " Anchor Babies " because the child anchors the illegal parents to America. Additionally, said " Anchor Baby " qualifies for WIC and other social services.
So to those who say that both parents must be " American" - it's simply not true. If it were, there'd be a lot of immigrants who passed through Ellis Island in the 1800s with non-American babies today.
Ellis Island is proof that a baby can be born an American be be a "natural born citizen."
All that is required to be "American" is to be born on American soil. Illegal aliens from Mexico have already proven this point.

I guess I should not be surprised that I have to prove citizenship to get a drivers license, but Bosco gets to be the Pres. without proving anything. I would also think if he had proven citizenship, the docs. would be public info. How do we track down the responsible parties for enforcing this rule? THAT is the route to go.

If he is a natural born citizen why is so afraid to produce a birth certificate. There must be somthing behind the secrets. Where is the transparency?

I'm not really sure. He seems to have produced one, but only recently. When he was campaigning there was a big to do about McCain to produce hiis birth certificate, financial records well as his medical records because of his history of Cancer. Also, Hillary was delaying showing her financial records. But somehow, Obama seemed to have gotten a pass on everything. To quote Obama --- something looks 'fishy.'
