No, they have done it to our military for years to prepare them for capture should that occur. It is an effective tool to obtain critical info. What a shame we have a president who doesn't have a clue about how to defend our nation. I guess he thinks is winning personality will do the trick.

Maybe we should have obama apologize to them. I know if I hear him apologize again for America and say how arrogent we have been, I might give up information about my mother. It drives me crazy.

No problem Ken It really irritates me to hear people whine about waterboarding being torture when they haven't had to endure the pain that these terrorist have put on our soldiers! I have no sympathy for anyone that wants to hurt Americans.

NO!!! Torture is watching a fellow human having their head blown off/chopped off by terrorists on national television- torture is watching your country's servicemen being ridiculed by the Holleywood Elites as they are being transported home either wounded or dead - torture is watching the leader of your country act like a fool in front of the world as he kisses the fannies of our enemies....in hopes that if he bends over far enough they may find him desireable...

Waterboarding is torture. The question should be is waterboarding maiming and potentially lethal? No it is not! It is the kind of torture to extract information to protect Americans from another 911. According to D*** Cheney waterboarding was one method that proved very successful in protecting America.

I totally agree. half of them are whining about waterboarding because someone added torture to the subtitle. alot of them dont even know what it is. but we need to do all we can to protect our citizens and those who have volunteered to put their lives on the line so we can live free.

Torture? It's simply interrogation. The CIA and the soldiers at GITMO are getting vital information from these enemy combatants to protect US citizens and soldiers. Oh that's right we're not supposed to use the word enemy combatant anymore. Just like the War on Terror is now called the Overseas Contingency Operation. Obama get real we're not 2 years old. Start leading the country you were elected to lead. Don't give away top secret information to the media that will compromise CIA operatives. Even when the military strongly urged Mr. Obama not to let this information loose, he pushes them aside, because he thinks he knows everything.

I say whatever works is what they should use. And it should be left up to the military to decide and no action should be taken after the fact. This crap about investigating and possibly prosecuting is just ridiculous.
