Judge Orders Trial on Obama Eligibility Issue
Today World Net Daily reports that a judge in California tentatively scheduled a trial for Jan. 26, 2010 regarding President Obama's eligibility for president.
WND states that this "will be the first time the merits of the dispute have been argued in open court".
For nearly a year there has been a controversy over whether Obama is legally able to serve as president of the Unite States. Some say he was born in Kenya while others say that because his father is not a US citizen it makes him intelligible to serve.

And wouldn't you know it---today's "speech" by BO to the school children was timed to occur at approximately the same time that the suit was being heard in federal court in Santa Ana, CA--too bad that we can't report this on the government website--it does smell a bit "fishy" to me-----was the speech, maybe, a diversion to keep eyes and minds off the lawsuit? Let me ponder that one--I will get back to you.

You hit on something important there, Jerry! I believe you are right; the speech was timed to keep people's minds, and more importantly, prayers, off the legal matter. We are not fighting only flesh and blood here, and some serious spiritual battling needs to happen, with people praying that the truth is brought to light in this matter. Nice catch there!

As much as I hate to say this , he needs to finish his term regardless of eligibility...he goes down, Joe Biden, takes over...B.O. trying to work with a Conservative Republican Congress after next year for two years would be the best payback this guy could get...plus there are amazing things that can happen to a birth certificate in 4 months...

That is not exactly correct, If Obama is not eligible then neither is Biden, because he was picked by someone that is not eligible. Obama would face treason charges and they may have to call a new election.

Actually, Pelosi is an accomplice to his illegal election. She will go down with Obummer and Biden because she was the chair of the DNC and signed off on their eligibility.

It would indeed create a constitutional crisis if Obama were proven to be ineligible.
Biden could not take office (arguments for these claims are detailed below), neither could Pelosi, there are even questions as to whether Boyd could, and it is clear that neither could any of Obama's appointees.
That means that there would be no one who could fill the presidency *per the directly stated* constitution.
There would be a vacuum of power, yet there is a case that is finally posturing to address the issue.
Therefore, a contingency plan should be set in place, just in case.
Why couldn't anyone in the line of succession fill the presidency?
Biden would have been elected on the same ticket - which would be considered null and void by way too many to allow him to serve. Biden knew about the issues at hand. It could be argued that he might have been complicit in the cover up, IF Obama is not eligible.
Pelosi actually signed a paper stating that Obama was qualified - she'd go down hard on that point alone IF Obama is not eligible.
It could also be argued that any congressman who should have upheld the requirements of the Constitution for presidential candidates might also be considered ineligible? - that could put a cloud on the eligibility of Robery Byrd, if I'm not mistaken. Anyone able to speak more clearly on that point?
Obama's appointees certainly would not be considered legit any more because, well, an illegitimate president appointed them.

So should we merely wait and find out later? Consider this:
IF THE ELIGIBILITY ISSUE SHOWS OBAMA TO NOT BE A VALID PRESIDENT AFTER FOUR YEARS
Then what does that say about all of the laws being passed AND SIGNED INTO LAW right now?
Either way, it is a constitutional crisis the like of which our nation has never faced.
The courts are derelict in their duty to ascertain the facts ASAP, because, with any question still in the air, there is already a constitutional crisis.
This is a crisis which needs to be brought to a just end.
........
How? Again, a verdict of ineligible would create a vacuum of power.
THEREFORE, no one should move further into the issue without having an agreed upon response to that vacuum ahead of time........
This is the stuff that critical mass is made out of if we ignore it, or if we just keep arguing about what WE EACH INDIVIDUALLY THINK must happen.
We MUST come up with a contingency plan.
We MUST ascertain the facts.
We MUST agree to trust the contingency plan, should it be needed - much as Americans had to trust the Constitution for it to work.
Then we can SAFELY see if there even IS a real problem with his eligibility.

What a red herring! The horse has left the barn. If this was really an issue, it would have been dealt with by now. Don't get me wrong, it was worth looking into, and i don't believe he is legitimate, but the press' love affair with the man would never let it come to light. It is too late now. Can you imagine the politics for the guy who was supposed to verify that? What is great, is that he has set a precedence, now we can "elect" a foreigner, because, "we did it before". I am a self employed small business owner, don't know how I will survive. Did I say extremely frustrated?

Not necessarily. In fact, I completely believe that there are many in CONgress who know the truth about his birthplace but are deliberately supressing it because of their support for OBummer. They also know that their own political careers would be on the line if the truth came out. Most lies are told to cover up previous lies.

Check Foxnews. They show/air both sides no matter how disgusting one or the other is. They will follow this "trial"

Unfortunately we - my wife and I - are on disability so depend on the government to live. That doesn't mean we like what is happening and definitely don't agree with it.
He has surrounded himself with "Czars" who have more power than any of his cabinet.
