Judge Orders Trial on Obama Eligibility Issue

Today World Net Daily reports that a judge in California tentatively scheduled a trial for Jan. 26, 2010 regarding President Obama's eligibility for president.

WND states that this "will be the first time the merits of the dispute have been argued in open court".

For nearly a year there has been a controversy over whether Obama is legally able to serve as president of the Unite States. Some say he was born in Kenya while others say that because his father is not a US citizen it makes him intelligible to serve.

I hope this takes place, but I am afraid it will be stopped before it gets to that date. They are not going to let this happen.

If we can not even investigate the eligibilty of our own president can we prevent terroists from taking over this country?? This is a question to ask amongst yourselves i mean if we have become that weak why don't we just let them all come right on in and have a slice of pie. I am going to tell you all i am very ashamed of the way many americans have let this bunch of tyrannts just walk in and help themselves.

Someone mentioned that if Obama where not eligible the FBI would have caught it. I may be wrong on this but, as I understand it, the FBI is not responsible for investigating this. Someone correct me if I am wrong but there is no mandate for the FBI to do this, although there should be. I think after this it will become a requirement. The organization responsible for vetting this are the political Parties. Now there is an interesting story out there that, IF TRUE, demonstrates that the DNC knew that Obama was not eligible because they would not summit the document stating such. Here is the link:

Additionally, regarding the FBI, I would like everyone to consider this. Why haven't they shut down ACORN yet? There are many respectable people in the FBI but like every other government organization, they are run by fallible men. I will not blindly trust them or any other government organization. We have to force the government to do right, we can't just trust that it will!

Interesting that he was a Muslim, as he admitted until George Stephanopoulos corrected him. Isn't it funny how no-one could mention his Muslim background and ties during the campaign, lest they be called a right wing extremest engaging in gutter politics. But as soon as he was elected he go around talking about his Muslim roots and the lie that America is one of the largest Muslin nations. Very interesting to me.
