No, son, YOU ARE WRONG.

I do not recall one single statement from ANYONE, or will there be any from Mitt Romney, stating the obvious: Big government is bad government and the best solution is small government.

No one will say that. Why? The simple reason is that they do not want to frighten YOU with a word like small. How about less? That is a nice soft word. And therein is the problem. The public at large does not want small government.

This of course means that Obama is not the cause of ANYTHING. He is little more than a SYMPTOM of a country sickened by complacency, ignorance, stupidity, dishonesty, hero worship, or a combination thereof.

If you think for yourself WHY DO YOU NEED HEROES? America elected Obama with the promise of hope and change. Since when did big government provide a reasonable expectation of making your life better? Only once, and never again!

The Framers arranged to give you protection from government with a Constitution designed to enable you to take care of yourself without undue interference of government, provided that you were vigilant and used your vote to protect your rights.   

The Framers of the Constitution had a simple, logical premise.

Men are capable of evil;

Government is run by men;

Therefore, government is capable of evil;

Therefore, the power of government must be limited

That is what the Constitution was designed to do.  But that was then. This is now. I'd say that you got what you deserved. And its Obama today and ROMNEY tomorrow. MAYBE.

An Eastern European summed it up succinctly after the 2008 election saying: “You have lost your Republic. The problem with your country is that the people who live in it today are not the same kind of people who fought the American revolution.”

So, what do you have with Mitt?

“I WILL REDUCE THE SIZE OF GOVERNMENT 10% OVER THE NEXT 4 YREARS BY ATTRITION”

“I WILL REDUCE DISCRETIONARY SPENDING by 5%”

ROMNEY CLEARLY UNDERSTANDS THAT TALKING SMALL, OR EVEN SMALLER GOVERNMENT, IS A BLUE PRINT FOR LOSING THE ELECTION.
