Yeah, we're all here because we're not exactly thrilled to have him in office, but if we come up with some things that we don't totally hate and can say to libs with a straight face, then it'll be easier to talk to them and some of them actually ARE trying to look at facts and make informed decisions. There may not be many, I know, but isn't it worth trying?

I do like the fact that the President and his wife genuinely seem to love each other and their girls. After 8 years of married-for-power bill and hill, it's a refreshing change. It's a good example for kids in the country to have in front of them, whether you like them or not. Hopefully 8 yrs of the the Bush's example followed by however many of the Obamas will overcome some of the yuck of the Clinton years. Sadly, won't make the fact that Bill made oral sex ok for preteens (hey, it's not sex - the pres said so!) go away.

Michelle is using American designers and not all her clothing is over the top expensive.

So, what other nice things can anyone come up with? That's all I've got for now.

I'll give props to anyone who can defeat the Clinton machine. I also think he won't surround himself with "yes" people, and will consider opposing views.
He has some good ideas about transparency in Government. I read that he was going to try and post bills from congress on the web so that the people could look at them before he signed them. Now weather it happens or not is another things. I here that we don't even debate in Congress anymore, Dictator Pelosi writes all of the bills in her office and doesn't even take ideas from Democrats.
He is clean and articulate. (I actually stole that line from Biden, but if it worked for him.....)
he has 10 fingers and 10 toes, umm thats about all i can come up with.
ohh has anybody heard he's black? I think that was on MSNBC or something tonight.
NO, not worth my time.
Barack appears to bathe regularly.
I love Barack Obama's taste in music. Having Yo-Yo Ma and Yitztak Rabin at the inauguration (live or recorded) was a wonderful idea. It showed a lot of class.

I also like the fact that he enrolled Malia and Sasha in private school. I see it as a tacit endorsement of school choice.
Oh, he's also a very good politician. (I believe Hilary Clinton described him as such)

I didn't even catch that! Private school! That does send a message. Good point!

Still got nothing
He gives out fist bumps..??? Sorry, that's all I could come up with.
Ain't got a thing.......specially after his "I WON" statement...
