Obama moved 9/11/2001 remembrance to this past weekend
In a proclimation issued last week, Obama declared Sep. 4-6 as the National Days of Prayers and Remembrance for remembering Sep. 11, 2001.
Sep. 11 is the National Day of Service (as in ACORN community service).
NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim Friday, September 4, through Sunday, September 6, as National Days of Prayer and Remembrance. I ask that the people of the United States, each in their own way, honor the victims of September 11, 2001, and their families through prayer, memorial services, the ringing of bells, and evening candlelight remembrance vigils.

%^&)@#@ keys : ) I really do feel however, that those of us going to DC next weekend really need to take a stand on this. If anyone has 9/11 remembrance tshirts let's wear them on Friday, maybe even black armbands. Make sure there are no symbols on the bands though, so we aren't accused of wear swastikas

The epitome of narcissism!! Even in acknowledging the tragedy of September 11, 2001, Mr. B has to CHANGE THE DATE of the 'allowed' remembrance. How arrogant can you get?
By the way, is anyone aware that these so called 'proclamations' are read into record when they aren't even in session, therefore, eliciting NO response from anyone, because no one is there to respond?

Where is the National Republican Party, if this was a republican administration pulling this stuff the democrats would want him impeached. When will the R.N.C stop catering to the liberal media. Guess what there's nothing you can do to get the state run media to like you. The American People are standing up for this country where is the R.N.C, as well as the republicans in on Capital Hill. If you want your power then show some guts not just stand there and moan. Chairman Obama can not tell us when to remember the September 11, 2001 victims because we should never forget them in the first place. We also need to remember to thank the troops who are still fighting for us in the Middle East and around the world.
