Obama misses Veterans Day in the United but gives praise to veterans of Indonesia.

Obama Awol on Veterans Day
The article states:
He was in Jakarta for their Heroes Day this week to honor their veterans "who have sacrificed on behalf of this great country."
"This great country," of course, being Indonesia.
"When my stepfather was a boy, he watched his own father and older brother leave home to fight and die in the struggle for Indonesian independence," Obama told the audience.

A man who spends all of our money to take yet another vacation he doesn't need should not be our president.
I strongly believe that a president should be REQUIRED to have joined the service before he can become commander and chief. Maybe he wouldn't be in INDONESIA during OUR VETERANS DAY!

A man, not of the mainstream (and the dissenters can argue till their blue, B. Hussein Soetoro Obama is NOT American), with his COMPLETE HISTORY in the company of anti-American personalities and dissidents; a man who's cool demeaner, reflective of his obnoxious ego, has REPEATEDLY shown little, if not complete DISrespect to our American military and its leaders; a man who has apollogized to our ENEMIES (and that's what you call extremist leaders of ISLAMIC countries) for America's arrogance!?!? ANYONE who defends this man, his ideas, the male and female who bore him or his ancestry as far back as man's beginning will NOT be getting a Christmas card from Clint Manuel!!!!!!!

I'm a twenty-two year veteran of the World's Finest Navy, but my outrage isn't about me. I have concerns about the loyalties of a Commander in Chief who consistenty snubs holidays like Veterans Day and Memorial Day. This week the president flew to Asia on another gas guzzling boondoggle on Air Force One for the purpose of hob nobbing with representatives from India, Japan Korea and Indonesia. When the president should have been honoring our Nations veterans and those who paid the supreme price he was globe trotting with Michelle at the expense of the American taxpayers. As usual this president sent the White House snuffy Vice President Joe Biden to do his "dirty work" at Arlington National Cemetary on Thursday. On her way back to the U.S. on Thursday the First Lady made a "surprise" visit to troops at Ramstein AFB and helped serve a special luncheon to 300 military personnel and their families at the base officer's club. That's commendable, but why was she even in Germany? Wouldn't it have set a better example to stay home and visit personnel as they prepare to deploy for overseas duty and honor veterans in the United States? The president visited with military personnel in Korea, but that was only because he was involved with the G-20 summit and unsuccessfully negotitating a free trade agreement with Korea. Free trade agreements are complicated matters and they shouldn't be negotiated by amateurs, nor is a FTA with Korea in the best interest of the U.S. economy. As an American I've tried very hard to give this president the benefit of the doubt. I obviously didn't vote for him but I hoped that he would be successful for the sake of my nation, but he's consistently demonstrated that his priorities don't reflect the best interest of the American people. The president clearly has another agenda.
