Ok, so I stole this from my friends blog (http://jonridinger.blogspot.com/). Anyone else have a problem with this attitude??!! I do! Ahhh... and you know that those who support him see NOTHING wrong with what he said.

"I was driving home this evening from a boys basketball game and heard an interesting bit of information as I listed to the radio on Cleveland's WTAM 1100 AM. They were doing the 10:00 news and mentioned that several Republican lawmakers had expressed problems with President Obama's and the Democrats' latest economic "stimulus" package. Honestly, I can't blame them for having problems since I think this is the exact thing NOT to do to help the economy. Well, the person reporting the news stated that there was a White House meeting on the subject with those lawmakers and that while Obama said he'd "listen" he also said that didn't mean he'd actually do anything about it. OK, good start, I thought. At least he's listening, right? At the very least he can hear other viewpoints and at least feign the appearance of bipartisanship and "working together." Well, the next sentence was the kicker. "Obama reminded the lawmakers who won the election in November.""

Mexico? Did they win? I'm not clear yet who won, but it certainly wasn't the USA.
in my personal experiences, obama supporters have been the most ignorant of all supporters. they are ignorant of obama's positions, how he voted on issues, and on the actual issues themselves. This is where a little education goes a long way. When I was campaigning for Ron Paul, the easiest thing to do was to convert an Obama supporter into a NON-supporter of Obama.. However as the election drew nearer and nearer it became an issue of "anybody but Bush Jr."

I believe with Ronald Reagan that this left vs. right political mentality is phony.. it is a rouse.. There is only a vertical arguemnt, up vs. down... people vs. govt issue.

Obama supporters are like a herd of cattle, going where they think the grass is greener.. When they get there, they will likely find the grass is just as spotty and chewed up as it was where they were at.
Exactly. We need to find ways to appeal to them, and we need to start working on it NOW so they are fully in place when we need them. We need to be ready with the arguments for what they're saying. Why on earth didn't McCain ask the simple question of how taxes can be decreased on people who are already not paying ANY? If we start asking the simple questions that burst some of their balloons, it's a start to getting through and getting this country back.

I think the easiest way to appeal to EVERYBODY, is to educate them about sound money.

Right now, we dont have sound money. We have an unstable money system. Taxes are irrelevant primarily because the people get hit with an invisible tax - inflation. They know they have more dollars in their pocket, but they also know it gets harder and harder to make ends meet.. They know something is wrong, they just dont know what. Sound money appeals to everybody. Because its best for America. Whether your a Republican, Democrat, or a Communist. If you love America, you wont love the money system once you learn about whats going on.

Additionally, having sound money also solves a lot of other problems we are having like expensive healthcare, expensive college tuition, people on fixed incomes not being able to afford the necessities of life. It would lessen poverty, and as a result certain crimes would very likely decrease.

But most importantly it would also force the government to run a balanced budget, unless they directly taxed the people.. And if they did that, they would have to have a good reason, and then the whole notion of people being able to discern what they are taxed for and why they are taxed would be out in the open, in an honest political environment.
