She knows what she is doing. It doesn't change what I feel about voting for her. She has the best thing on her side "GOD"....
I will have to go against my conservative brothers and sisters here. I think its disgraceful for her to step down as governor with so much time still left to govern. She has let her electorate down. The very people that put where she is today. Then again I was not a fan to begin with. I felt sick when I heard McCain had chosen her as his running mate. I knew the election was lost. I found her lack of knowledge and experience for the position of VP appalling. I dont believe the conventional wisdom that the Obama "groundswell" was some sort of progressive mandate in American politics. I point to Sarah Palin as the singular nail in the coffin that effectively ended GOP reign. It made be hard for some to hear that but I believe its true. I know many who share my belief in this. I think McCain recognizes it too.
BS! Sarah Palin for prez! She has Newt/Mitt beat hands down! Ethics issues my eye!

Newt Gringich for President? The same man who told his wife who was afflected with cancer that he was leaving her to marry his mistress while his wife lie in her hospital bed?

Not very family values I think.

The only clean conservative candidate is Mitt Romney.

Not even Sarah Palin is clean. She has ethics issues. That's why the State of Alaska is spending so much money to get to the bottom of her shenanigans.
Thanks Phillip for informing Rick about the ethics charges. She was never convicted of any of those 14 ethic charges.

And she quit being mayor to be governor. Then that means a lot of politicians are quitters. Sarah Palin gave many reasons why she quit. All are just and good reasons to resign. Now Sarah Palin can be the leader that the GOP so desperately needs. I'm sorry, I like Mitt Romney, but he isn't able to draw crowds of 20,000 people in a 26,000 populated town.

Sarah Palin is charismatic and speaks from the heart. She can connect with the average American. And she in my eyes is incorruptible and won't sway from her views and beliefs unlike every other politician. What is even better is that she doesn't play by the same old Washington rules. She makes her own rules.

SARAH PALIN 2012!
Sarah Palin in 2009! 2012 wil be to late...GOP is dead and so are the dem's. 'Mitt' is part of the problem. Clean house Sarah and start anew. God Bless you and keep you Sarah Palin. Let's take back this country! Send 'o' to Gitmo along with all his cronies or czar's or whatever they are called now. God is a very key element in taking back our country as this is really God's country!

SARAH PALIN 2012!
Rick, I believe that IS what Sarah is up to. Just a gut feeling and it feels good!

Why not strive to elect officals who are ethically and morally clean? Isn't that what the Conservative movement all about?
He is part of the old politics we are trying to get away from. Besides how can you trust a man named Mitt? ;) Vote them ALL out!

Freedom Rider, you write: 'Mitt' is part of the problem

How is Mitt Romney a problem? Please elaborate. He has no ethics or moral charges levied against him that I can find.

He was a good Govenor in a very Librul state.
those were my thought Lori. I certainly would not want a pres that would quit mid term. She is a smart gal. She is planning something. I think it's a wait and see thing. I am hopeful we will be delightfully surprised at her choice.

Lori said:
My guess is she will replace Steele as RNC. Steele had not succeeded in focusing and uniting the Republican party. She's not doing this for family reasons or she would have stated so. There's no way she is making preparations for a run for POTUS because quitting mid-term as governor is political suicide for any elected position.
Lori & LindaG, you are both onto the big picture! Perhaps Sarah Palin might run for President, but she will not be the final contender in 2012. She will back the contender, and help him win the election, and maybe after his 2 terms, she might possibly run in 2020.
She is not a 'professional politician'. She is God sent to straighten our country out! She's the one to fix 'o's screwups I feel...

I say, more power to Sarah Palin! her goals, for whatever reasons, and leave it be!
But I will say this, if she ever runs for President, she'll have my Vote! because she is one of very few
people who is true to her word in fighting for what is right and fair for people and trying to put america
back to work and making our country safe from the harm that other dems. not all, would allow to happen to us!

Im just saying!...
Isn't that what a president is supposed to do? She is up to something good. She didn't quit being governor to go bake cookies, I think I can gurantee that!
