Slime
I bought 5 plants that were healthy with dark green leaves and pink flowers to plant in my front yard. They added color and vibrancy to an otherwise ordinary landscape. They not only added a sense of beauty to my home, but also a sense of security that all was well with this property. I was happy.
Within a week the flowers were dead. I looked at the plants closely and found a trail of zig zagged slime over what was left of them. I lifted the ugly brown leaves and found a comfortable nest of SNAILS. They were snuggled in the moist darkness, sleeping in a bloated state of euphoria. They ate the flowers to satisfy their lust for food without thought that they killed the plant that fed them. Disgusting!!!
I bought snail bait pellets to get rid of them. Each pellet will send them to the promised land so that I can once again have a new adornment of flowers in my garden that will be able to thrive under my care.
I can't help to see the snail story is an analogy to what the Liberals are doing to our country. They are eating away, snail-like to destroy the beauty of the foundation of our country. They are munching bite by bite away at our petals of democracy.
My question to you: What "pellets," one by one, can each of us, as individuals use to save the beauty of our democracy?
One that I am using is to throw out anything the Main Street Media promotes that I know is not in adherance to our constitution such as POLITICAL CORRECTNESS. It is a violation of our Freedom of Speech that stems from uncontrolled LIBERALISM, not common sense.
I have made a vow to not ever use it (PC) and to call people on it when they use it (in the right situations). For instance, when my friends called Mexicans Hispanics, I told them to stop it. A Mexican is proud to be a Mexican, so call him Mexican. They don't want to be lumped into being Cuban or Puerto Ricans or any other country's citizens...They are proud to be Mexican. Another one is illegal aliens. The people who enter the US illegally are illegal aliens. War on Terror is a War on Terror. Etc. Etc. Period.
If we, as a group, refuse to buy into the Main Street Media mantra, we may kill off some of their power. We need to be a formidable force against them.
What is your suggestion for a powerful pellet we can use against their slime?

I agree totally ... 100%. I'm finding that on other blogs there is this common thread: not KNOWING what to do. And I sometimes find I'm in the same vein myself. I know that when it comes down to it ... we will most likely have to fight ... and I don't mean in just words. But, up TO that point ... what to do ... what to do.
There is one "Pellet": Sharing of information is something we all can and are already doing. I know what you're thinking - In some cases this is just "preaching to the choir". But, if you SPREAD the fringes of where your information is shared ... there is the chance that the movement will grow. We might even get "converts". I hear that there are SOME Liberals who are BEGINNING to understand what we've been saying. Then, I watch a Liberal talk show ... and I go "OH JEEEES!!!!". It's like they don't GET it at ALL!! The chosen one (according to them) is STILL doing a wonderful job, and his outreach program to our enemies is a "Good Thing"!! What are they thinking? Better yet ... WHERE ARE THEY GOING WITH THIS!? WHAT IS THE GOAL!!??
While us conservatives sit here and DAILY see him destroying our democracy, our government, our country.
Do you THINK if Obama had run with HONESTY .... telling the TRUTH ... that his "Change" was going to be outright SOCIALISM ... that the people would have voted for him? I think most people would have voted for ANYBODY ... to avoid that. We SEE Europe. We KNOW that this is a terrible mistake (as they are now realizing).
Another "Pellet" may be writing and/or calling your congressmen. But I have a feeling they may be OVERWHELMED right now ... with others like us. But, maybe not.
The final "Pellet" that I have ... is to FIRST do everything we CAN (using whatever means possible) to get RID of that Corrupt and Fraudulent group called ACORN. They HAVE to go ... in order for us to return to a Democracy. Our founding fathers certainly never expected for there to be groups whose SOLE PURPOSE is to CHANGE THE OUTCOME OF ELECTIONS ... for a PARTICULAR PARTY. This is NOT what elections are supposed to be about. It is ILLEGAL ... and if Republicans ever expect to win another election (i.e. 2010) ... then we MUST dismantle this abomination called ACORN.

We have the holy day for democracy coming very soon. We need every person that can be mustered to protest at each States capitol to let them know were done with there crap and they had better step up to reality because we are the people that run our states not them and they had better listen. The 4th of July should not be celebrated by any consertives, not one single patriot should bow his head or raise it in pride because there is nothing but shame brought onto this country by Obama and his crew. That is Independence Day how can anyone celebrate?????????????????

What an articulate analogy of our countries demise. There are but few words that could do the same, thank you Roberta. I think each and every one of us who believe in what our country should be are the pellets that will kill the slugs and snails that are chewing away at our way of life. If we can awake the giant enough on the fourth of July it will be a good start of spreading the poison. We need promoters and money to pull of an even bigger protest than the tea parties. There is more predigest in this country now that when I was growing up as a child and I agree the things like Mexicans, Socialists, communists and all the rest of those cowards hiding behind another name should be called what the hell they are. After all a spade is a spade and a heart is a heart and they are very different than there counter parts a diamond and a club are they not? Keep up the good work Roberta

"Democracy" entered the American political lexicon as an accusation, not a positive.
I see nothing "beautiful" about it. Democracy, like republicanism, is a form. It may be good, it may be bad. Usually it is bad (hence the fear and founders and framers had of it).
What needs to be restored is the structure of government...i.e.....the rule of law. We need to stop those who use"democracy" and the courts to do end runs around the constitution.

I holeheartly agree. I have been politically incorrect for many years. it started with me on Carters failed attempts to get our people our of Iran...It has continued through Clinton. Yes you DID have sex with that woman...and continues today with what the leader of our country is destroying our country as fast as he can and the SRM (state run media) is helping him every step of the way. As for my pellet...I speak my mind as I can. I no longer hold my tongue when some liberal spews their hatred and lies. I will lose friends as a result...but you WILL know where I stand and how I feel for MY country. You WILL know where I stand on MY God and MY savior Jesus Christ. You WILL know who I feel leads, follows and is a cancer on MY countries ability to be the greatest country ever.
Thanks Roberta for the way you so vividly portrayed the core leadership in the capitol.
