So What's The Problem Here People?
Guess what people? The 2010 elections are just around the corner. Has anyone read "Why I started TCUnation?" It seems like we are all in this mode of b******* and whining. Trolls don't worry you are fine, I expect that from you. But everyone else, it's time grab a bat and step up to the plate.
I admit I'm guilty of it too. But, for the past week I turned off talk radio and the news just to clear my head. Wow, the world still turns. Then, I got to thinking, all our theories were correct. Universal healthcare, bailouts, more taxes, and a true socialist agenda is staring US right in the face. That's scary.
Our Founding Fathers rose up against their country. Yes, they took up arms against their government, but that's all they could do. However, they left US with a powerful weapon - "The right to Vote".
In about a year you will get to exercise that right, peacefully, and overturn a runaway government and put new people in place to begin rebuilding our great country. What country in the history of man has such an opportunity?
Now guess what? You will never elect the "perfect" conservative! I know that may be shocking to hear but no candidate is going to be "all things" to "all people". Just understand that and move on. The bigger problem is we have a socialist left wing determined to destroy what the Founding Fathers built. Pick your candidate but be willing to give a little if they do not actually make it on the ballot.
To put it plainly, if conservatives, republicans, independents etc... continue to bicker among one another, you will not have to worry about elections in the future. Socialist countries don't have huge party problems.
So I ask you, "What is the problem here people?". It's now or it's possibly never. The 2010 elections will be the most important mid-term elections ever held.
I started TCUnation for Patriots ready to begin the battle to win OUR country back!
Loyalist have been replaced with Socialists and muskets with the ballot box.
In the coming weeks TCUnation will begin recruiting Patriots who are ready for that challenge. And, for the good of our country we must put some of our differences aside to win this battle.
Our first initiative is to refocus on State Groups. Join your state group, contribute, or better yet be a leader in your state group.
Regan repeatedly spoke of a "shining city upon the hill". He describes it in his farewell address on January 11, 1989.
"I've spoken of the Shining City all my political life. …In my mind it was a tall, proud city built on rocks stronger than oceans, windswept, God-blessed, and teeming with people of all kinds living in harmony and peace; a city with free ports that hummed with commerce and creativity. And if there had to be city walls, the walls had doors and the doors were open to anyone with the will and the heart to get here. That's how I saw it, and see it still."
TCUnation and it's members should be guiding lights to such a place. The final paragraph of his speech are words we should seek to speak again:
"We've done our part. And as I walk off into the city streets, a final word to the men and women of the Reagan revolution, the men and women across America who for eight years did the work that brought America back. My friends: We did it. We weren't just marking time. We made a difference. We made the city stronger. We made the city freer, and we left her in good hands. All in all, not bad, not bad at all."

I plan on hearing those words again. How about you?

Come join the battle -- it means first coming together for the sake of the whole.
It means being a different kind of site, with purpose and motive and determination.
In the end, it has the potential of victory. Remember, failure is NOT an option we can afford.

Being that I am in Va, next week is a big move for us to get back on track to get GOP blood back in. I just hope and pray that NJ, NY and CA can also get the GOP moving. The scary part is the RNC is in favor of Scozzafava and we need more TRUE conservative not RINO. Right now people, we need to start winning the battles, so we can get back to winning the war against government tyrrany.

From where I stand, November 4, 2010 is still too far away to even make it a certainty. If this government, this Congress and this Supreme Court have done SO much damage in only 9 months, what can we expect in another 12 months? Every day that goes by makes the destruction of America more secure, and makes the resistance and opposition weaker. We have wasted 9 months trying to use our Constitutional rights and means to try to slow down this virtual "coup d'etat" performed by Obama and his admnistration. It didn't work. Perhaps it's time to revise and change an ineffective strategy?

Response:To be honest, I am kind of at a loss. I hate to be all doom and gloom, but I know in the final analysis 2 things stand on our side: Human nature and our unique American Spirit. Our 2010 elections are going to be the most important elections of our lives, and we really need to fully vette who we are going to elect from the ground up. Board of Education, City Council, and all the way up the chain.
We need people who remember HOW America was built, and who will seek to unleash our ingenuity. People that will seek to abolish the corruption that infests Washington. You and I did not ruin America, they did. We built it and then allowed someone else to ruin it. If you had spent 5 years working on some masterpiece painting, and then someone came along and threw turpentine all over it just because some stranger paid them $100 to do it, what would you do? The government not only does not produce a single dime or product, they are taking our production and money and squandering it with abject disdain. What will you do?
Just for fun I was doing a bit of research in preparation of a paper I am going to write on Capitalism, and discovered that in the short course of American history, we have invented 513 products that shaped the globe. Economically viable products that improved the quality of life for all mankind.
I then ran the same search on Russia (a model of past dictatorship and Socialism). In their entire history (from what I had found), they have invented 13 things. None of them were commercial products that changed the world, although they did make 3 major contributions to scientific understanding (The Periodic Table by Melendez being the most notable).
So many people that COULD be rallied to a strong oppositional stance against Socialism are not getting our message. To be honest, I am more pissed at the Conservative that may be standing at my side, then I am at the Liberals. I am just as guilty as everyone in being asleep the past 40 years. We let this happen. We are to blame. I am making up for lost time. I am actually WORKING hard. My efforts have led to guest speaker engagements. I have gone to colleges and worked with Young Republicans. I do Blog Talk Radio. I have set up a website. I have set up perhaps 5 different personal blog sites, using a "neutral" tone in "reporting" and making posts with lots of tags so they might get stumbled onto and maybe even read by Liberals. I have urged all I know to do the same. Interestingly enough, when you put "sustainable development" into the browser, it will return you 27 million hits! All of them Liberal but 2 (from what I have found). It was this alarming feedback that led me to tell all I know to get blogs and help bring up the count more towards our favor.
But sadly, when I look at most of my fellow Conservatives, they somehow think that talking about these things is synonymous to doing something about it. As we are rife with anxiety and despairing over the gloom that befalls us, many act in a way that would be consistent with a drug addict. They become addicted to sensationalism. The "excitement", be it good or bad, is externalized and assuages internal anxieties either through external identifications or external incorporations. This restores us to a state of equilibrium, until the next sensation negatively impacts us, and we then become involved with the sensationalism to defeat the offending primary inducement.
That primary sensation needs to inspire action, not the ineffectual defense of re-action. Because of this perpetual emotional yo-yo, we have allowed ourselves to be duped into "content", and have wasted so much of our energy dissecting and discussing this and that. Both 'this' and 'that' reside in a greater "context" that contains it all. In this case, Agenda 21. Every time we make a post about some piece of insidious legislation, we need to tie it right back to the source from which it flows. Present both the pragmatic view, and the contextual view. The words Agenda 21 should accompany every letter sent, every post made, every utterance made.
I am as ordinary and mundane a guy one could ever hope to be...just drive to my office, try to get some work done, make ends meet and keep my nose clean. But somewhere along the way these past 2 years as I have been just as frustrated as the next person, I started doing the best I can do. I am not, nor will I ever be "the best", but I can always aspire to do my best. As of late, various groups have been seeking me out. I was invited, along with Orly Taitz, to be a guest speaker at a local Republican event. I have printed out a short 5 page overview of Agenda 21 for Dummies (that I am hoping they publish here as well). I printed out 1,000 copies and WALKED, and passed them out. I have asked my small membership of a few hundred at my website to do the same. Have they? Will they? My experience has shown me that perhaps 5 will. That is why I am pissed at my fellow conservatives. They cry "save Our country", yet their ineffectiveness is their contribution towards the ruination of MY country.
Patriotism fosters the luxury of sitting at home and doodling pictures of the American Flag. A patriot will pick up that flag and bury it in the heart of the enemy! When the Conservative standing next to you is working as hard as you are...Then we can save our country. We each have to be first a light unto ourselves, so we can be a beacon unto others.
I think we all have to first become "mini-leaders". I know on these ning sites, I rarely even get a comment on a post...so I don't give them much 'hope' anymore...YET, I will continue to voice my thoughts even if no one is listening. But I gave up on Ning sites a long time ago. Since then, I started going to the 'big boys' (American Thinker, The Hill, Townhall, etc etc). I have been so prolific that I guess I ended up catching the attention of a few people. That led to speaking engagement invites, publications, etc etc. Maybe because of my enduring efforts, 10 other people become motivated. If we EACH become a pebble, then the ripples will begin to vibrate. With enough pebbles cast into the waters, we can become a tsunami, and a 'leader' will rise up amongst us.

Good post and you point out the problems conservatives, independents, Republicans, Democrats and none affiliated voters. Many tend to be single issue voters and are turned off to a point they just stay home. Socialist, Fascist, Marxist, Maoist and other radical supporters now called Progressives depend on dividing the opposition and attacking the leaders of any opposition groups.
The search and destroy efforts are very apparent in the BHO Administration; they attempt to discredit any and all that oppose their extreme agendas. "They are all playing the violin while America is burning" - do not believe that they are destroying your freedoms and will take your wealth to give to others. They do not even hide that redistribution (UNCONSTITUTIONAL) of wealth is the center piece of their plans.
Maybe we have to many forums on the web to effectively unite conservatives and like minded other groups of Constitutional government supporters into a force that will win and save the nation.

In every meeting attended, there is a great concern about the direction our country is headed. The Constitution MUST be restored as the law of the land. Congress takes an oath to "preserve and protect the Constitution of the United State". Are they doing that? No! Article 1 Sec. 8 of the Constitution states what Congress can do. NO WHERE does it say "Health Care". 2010 is the most important election year this country has seen since it's beginning. It's outcome will determine the path of the country. Will it continue on as it is or will it be stopped by WE THE PEOPLE? Voting is not only a right, it is a responsibility. The people must do what is necessary to protect and preserve the Constitution by electing those who will honor the Oath they take. It is time, fellow citizens, to take our country back! A candidate with a strong conservative agenda is what this country needs to defeat the socialistic threat that resides in DC today. I will always be a conservative, and will always vote for the most conservative agenda candidate. I suggest checking out the John Birch society they seem to have been the most conservative group ever for over 50 years.

We need to get it back to the constitution and not a party or an idiology NO One will fit the bill but get this bunch out ot the white house NOW and from going any farther into the h*** than we are, we may have already passed the point of "no return" We can talk and debate and they just keep moving us toward disaster. Some one has to show "leadership" that takes DOING somthing.
