Guess what people? The 2010 elections are just around the corner. Has anyone read "Why I started TCUnation?" It seems like we are all in this mode of bitching and whining.
Trolls don't worry you are fine, I expect that from you. But everyone else, it's time grab a bat and step up to the plate.
I admit I'm guilty of it too. But, for the past week I turned off talk radio and the news just to clear my head. Wow, the world still turns. Then, I got to thinking,
all our theories were correct. Universal healthcare, bailouts, more taxes, and a true socialist agenda is staring US right in the face. That's scary.
Our Founding Fathers rose up against their country. Yes, they took up arms against their government, but that's all they could do. However, they left US with a powerful weapon - "The right to Vote".
In about a year you will get to exercise that right,
peacefully, and overturn a runaway government and put new people in place to begin rebuilding our great country. What country in the history of man has such an opportunity?
Now guess what? You will never elect the "perfect" conservative! I know that may be shocking to hear but no candidate is going to be "all things" to "all people". Just understand that and move on. The bigger problem is we have a socialist left wing determined to destroy what the Founding Fathers built. Pick your candidate but be willing to give a little if they do not actually make it on the ballot.
To put it plainly, if conservatives, republicans, independents etc... continue to bicker among one another, you will not have to worry about elections in the future. Socialist countries don't have huge party problems.
So I ask you, "What is the problem here people?". It's now
or it's possibly never. The 2010 elections will be the most important mid-term elections ever held.
I started TCUnation for Patriots ready to begin the battle to win OUR country back!
Loyalist have been replaced with Socialists and muskets with the ballot box.
In the coming weeks TCUnation will begin recruiting Patriots who are ready for that challenge.
And, for the good of our country we must put some of our differences aside to win this battle.
Our first initiative is to refocus on
State Groups. Join your state group, contribute, or better yet
be a leader in your state group.
Regan repeatedly spoke of a "shining city upon the hill". He describes it in his farewell address on January 11, 1989.
"I've spoken of the Shining City all my political life. …In my mind it was a tall, proud city built on rocks stronger than oceans, windswept, God-blessed, and teeming with people of all kinds living in harmony and peace; a city with free ports that hummed with commerce and creativity. And if there had to be city walls, the walls had doors and the doors were open to anyone with the will and the heart to get here. That's how I saw it, and see it still."
TCUnation and it's members should be guiding lights to such a place. The final paragraph of his speech are words we should seek to speak again:
"We've done our part. And as I walk off into the city streets, a final word to the men and women of the Reagan revolution, the men and women across America who for eight years did the work that brought America back. My friends: We did it. We weren't just marking time. We made a difference. We made the city stronger. We made the city freer, and we left her in good hands. All in all, not bad, not bad at all."

I plan on hearing those words again. How about you?
