social network for conservatives

They would be "Okay we risked everything we had to write and institute the Constitution and none of you even know it!!! Are you friggin kidding me?" Of course, I would try to explain to them that I am instituting a Constitution class on A Black Conservative Digest and that people are starting to sign up for it. To which they would reply, "Great! How many?" "16 people so far." I would tell them. To which they would reply, "Okay you have 300 million people in this country, mass media that can pretty much reach all of them and you only got 16 people?" "Well the thing is founding fathers, I am not a liberal so I can't force people to learn about the Constitution, nor its predecessor, the Articles of Confederation. If they don't want to learn about the Declaration of Independence or read the Federalist Papers, I can't put a gun to their head." To which one of them would surely joke, "Why not? You still have the second amendment don't you? Use it or lose it." We would all laugh. After our laugh, I would smile and say, "16 is not so bad. Jesus only had 12 people and he changed the world." They would nod in agreement, "Good point." Of course there is power in numbers so if you are really serious about takign back this country, you will learn about its founders and the documents they created at http://bit.ly/ABCD
Permalink Reply by Misty Lynn on July 6, 2009 at 8:20am Our founding fathers would be shocked to see that our Nation is willingly handing over our liberties that were and still are bought by the blood of brave men who had the courage to fight for them. There was a time when men could clearly see right from wrong and were not easily fooled into believing in straight up BS just because a pretty lie was purred in their ear. Our fight is certainly a war of powers and principalities which includes the men who spin the issues to trick and soothe the public. Shame on me for just standing here with my mouth gaping open at the outrageousness of it all! Truly, the fathers of our great nation would feel spit upon.
Permalink Reply by Mark Windham on July 6, 2009 at 10:22am I think that they would be saddened that their greatest fears are being realized; despite their warnings. They feared a runaway central government, preferring that as much governance as possible be kept at the local level: By the People! Now the local is subservient to the State and the State to the Federal; the exact opposite of what was intended.
Our Republic is in trouble. It seems Franklin understood the risks when asked what form of government had been decided on: " A Republic, if you can keep it".
Can we keep it? How long until the Constitution is completely irrelevant? Saddened indeed....

I feel it would re-enforce the constitution by arresting the ineligible person that is in the presidents position now! Is there an oath taker out there that is also an oath keeper and has no fear of this evil?
