35 States file lawsuit against the Federal Government
Governors of 35 states have filed suit against the Federal Government for imposing unlawful burdens upon them. It only takes 38 (of the 50) States to convene a Constitutional Convention.

This is an idea that we should address.
For too long we have been too complacent about the workings of Congress. Many citizens had no idea that members of Congress could retire with the same pay after only one term, that they specifically exempted themselves from many of the laws they have passed (such as being exempt from any fear of prosecution for sexual harassment) while ordinary citizens must live under those laws. The latest is to exempt themselves from the Healthcare Reform... in all of its forms. Somehow, that doesn't seem logical. We do not have an elite that is above the law. I truly don't care if they are Democrat, Republican, Independent or whatever. The self-serving must stop.
If each person that receives this will forward it on to 20 people, in three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message. This is one proposal that really should be passed around.
Proposed 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution: "Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and/or Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States."

I guess I should have run for Congress instead of becoming a Nurse. I have 3 kids and between them there are 2 Associate Degrees, 2 Bachelors Degrees, 2 Masters Degrees, 1 PhD and 1 Law Degree. We could have all been "Paid in Full"........who knew?

A friend told me no one has to repay any student loans. if you game the system just the right way you can get your education, benefit from it for any length of time, and the liability for the loan dies with you. Thus it never gets paid!

Sorry, Bob S........But, my kids and I do not "game the system"......be the 'system' is right or wrong. I think you have to live with yourself each day and you want to just feel good about that prson who looks back at you when you look in the mirror. Your concept sounds like that of a Liberal...."Let someone else pay for your education". Nope. Each person needs to take responsibility for one's debts and pay your own way. My kids and I are happy to pay our loans back since we got the opportunity to get a good education, earn a decent living and become successful people. I have passed these concepts on to my kids and they can pass them to theirs........work hard, take responsibility, be successful. Please remember, Bob.......NOTHING is Free.....someone always pays!!

You really need to read the posts more carefully. I made NO reference to you. If I had meant to say or insinuate that you were doing something questionable I would have mentioned YOU directly. I did not!
By your obvious pointing of your accusatory finger at me you did not read my post correctly.
English a second or third language or are you just not very careful when you decide to accuse someone of something?

The first 4 words, of the original post, made it crystal clear I was repeating something SOMEONE ELSE told me they ARE doing. No reference was made, to you, or about you, or implied in any way style of form!!
Being passionate about something is a good thing but not if it causes you to make a fool of yourself and those around you!!
A big FYI to you... ALL the elected officials of the USA (POTUS to dog catcher) spend ALL their time devising ways to steal YOUR wealth from you every minute of every day!! They have it down to a fine science!!
The elected officials of the USA supported women in the workplace, NOT because it meant freedom for women... It was, and still is, because there will be more bank accounts to steal from!! The electeds only see us citizens/subjects as ATM MACHINES to take money from!!
Today being a "citizen of the USA" means being an economic slave and nothing more!!
Some people think printing money has no consequence. That is one of the most important methods the gov't uses to steal the value from YOUR bank account. Read a bit from Milton Freedman.

Bob, I could certainly see where Cher could interpret your comment about "gaming the system" as a direct response to her prior comment. No need to get defensive or personal.... I take both responses as a bit of defensiveness -- but let's not get personal about it. Not the way we do things on TCUnation.
Thanks for your original article; and I'm sure you were not encouraging folks to shirk their loan responsibilities. Let's all call it some misunderstanding and put it behind us.

Bob is one of those guys who likes to "talk crazy" and insight people who are not politically savvy. This is the wrong approach!!! Right or wrong......he blabbers on and on which scares people and then they decide they had better stick with what they know even if it is bad! The best way to change things is to go to the polls and vote (I am voting today in the Florida Primary). Next is to explain the difference of Liberal vs Conservative and inform the politically ignorant (which I once was!). Keep it simple and don't do all that "crazy talk" about the goivernment stealing your money, secret meetings etc which really turns people off. Speak simply like Paul Ryan is doing to inform people......it just works much better to inspire people rather than scaring them!

In 1910 a secret meeting was held to design the methodology to steal all the personal wealth from ALL the citizens of the USA by all the governments of the USA. The method is very effective and designed so you CANNOT prevent them from stealing away ALL that YOU have worked for!! (Read the book "The creature from Jekyll Island" by G. Edward Griffin)
To the federal gov't "We the people" are here simply for the federal gov't to steal wealth from, as much, and as often as they want to. Then they WASTE our money because we are voluntarily giving it to them to waste again and again and again…
By reelecting these thieves we are approving of this theft at the highest levels of our govt!
The federal gov't has a dept that collects the info necessary, annually, to adjust that stealing to the highest level the public will tolerate without complaining. That dept is called... IRS.
The IRS job is not about collecting money, it is about collecting INFORMATION about the citizens of the USA to make the govt's stealing easier and most profitable for the gov't!!! This means the USA has not been about the people for a very long time.
This is how the gov't of USA has been converting the citizens of the USA into ECONOMIC SLAVES for the last 100+ years!!. For the last 100+ years the federal gov't of the USA has been financially ENSLAVING all of us!!
When the gov't started charging "ownership" taxes on anything they, intentionally, took away your ownership of that item in the process.
As an example: Virginia charges "tangible personal property tax" on the ownership your vehicle. If you don't pay, they take/steal YOUR property and sell it to get the money.
If you think you actually "OWN" your home you are sadly mistaken. Stop paying the real estate tax and you will be thrown out like any other RENTAL TENANT!!By way of these taxes/abuses the gov't has cancelled your right to own a home, or anything else they are charging YOU rent/taxes on !! Thus you cannot own anything anymore, and can never retire, since these taxes keep getting higher and higher.
The average total annual taxes on someone, with no deductions, is about 60% of your income!!
I have had this estimation validated by several CPAs.
I understand that page 59 in obama care gives the gov't permission to withdraw all the money from your bank account, anytime, without your knowledge!!
Reelect only CONSTITUTIONALISTS !!
