I Do Hope that everyone will not only read this but consider the worst part of this "Control of All People' by the TSA. moving toward the USSR of America.
They will be able to control your Freedom to travel by Air any where in America or the World, just like Russians in Russia, a Chinese in China, N Koreans in Korea, Muslims in all Muslim Nations, ETC.

A terrorism expert says the invasive screening procedures demanded by the Obama-run Transportation Security Administration would do almost nothing to stop a determined terrorist because they already are experimenting with inserting explosives in a body cavity or even surgically implanting the destructive charges.
The comments come from Brigitte Gabriel, who is the founder of Act! For America, a 150,000-strong group that works to warn Americans against the dangers of militant Islam and the Muslims who follow it.
She also is a member of the board of advisers for the Intelligence Summit, and she lectures internationally on global terrorism.

The issue has hit a flashpoint in the last few days as newly installed TSA procedures demand that airline passengers submit to a full-body scanning machine that generates an essentially nude image of the passenger for TSA workers to see, or a full-body pat-down that includes what critics have called "groping" of private parts of the body.
"These procedures are not effective at all with terrorists," Gabriel told WND in an interview today. "If a true terrorist wants to go blow up an airplane, these machines will not detect it."
She said like drug dealers already have proven, substances hidden inside body cavities or even embedded surgically remain undetected by any or all of the TSA's procedures.
"If al-Qaida is planning against the U.S. multiple attacks in a day, in multiple airplanes, it could duplicate 9/11," she told WND. "Al-Qaida is testing inserting breast implants, stuffing breast implants with explosives."
She said a woman then could go into an airplane restroom and use a syringe similar to those used by diabetic patients to trigger an explosion that would disintegrate a modern jet.
"This is what al-Qaida is resorting to, and they're exploring surgery for men," she warned. "They want to implant explosives inside the body.
"Terrorists are conditioned and trained to blow themselves up, to become suicide bombers," she said. "They are ready to die to go to heaven to meet Allah."

The simple thought experiment one can conduct is to explain whether, and how, we can have inflation without money.
I think the answer is that we can't; inflation is a byproduct of money and government printing presses. The gold standard ameliorates it somewhat, but as a commodity the value of gold does can float. So putting us on the gold standard only makes it more difficult for government to mess it up.
I guess this bit of babble is all by way of saying that money is useful to facilitate trade, but it does come with the price of government meddling that creates instabilities in pricing.

I agree that inflation is a byproduct of money. Inflation or deflation can serve as counterproductive to the wellbeing of the economy.
To be honest.. I really dont know what the gold standard effect might have.. Haven't really thought about it. I believe that in the final analysis the government reciepts will rise and the budget trimmed. Federal worker wage freeze(announced today) is only one of the ajustments which will moderate the deficit until the economy is back in full swing. Lets hope for the best! -

Growth will remain below what is required until government spending, all levels, is reduced to below 25% of GDP. That is roughly a 40% whack to the size of government. Given that 2/3rd of the federal budget is entitlements and a hefty amount, not sure what, of state budgets is entitlement, then we will need to move many people from welfare or we will become Europe.

Thanks Mike. On September 11, 2001, I knew virtually nothing about Islam, or what a Muslim meant. Growth was slow, but now, being given eyes, I cannot NOT see! I send my thanks and prayers to every man, woman, child, soldier and apostate who sacrificed some part of themselves from the sourge of Islamic culture and had the nerve to speak and share its evilness with the others that we may know what it really is.

A viral video of a woman confronting a subway flasher started me thinking that businesses are often built upon services someone provides others -- walking dogs is an example. Some entrepreneur should round up the flashers and perverts, run them to the airport, and have TSA screen them on behalf of the passengers. Everybody wins. I'm just sayin'.

Agreed. I get frustrated by the government's dallying on this. It seems to me that we can all agree that it is the role of the government to provide security. It's not too difficult to see the threats. Passengers to airplanes as we are discussing here. An open border as we talked about here. Cyber attacks not discussed. General mayhem (think Ft. Hood) from domestic terrorists stoked by radicals elsewhere.
Where I'm growing less patient all the time is the waste of money patting down granny in a walker while all the other things remain undone and unaddressed. We don't have enough money to spend it for foolish things in the name of security, when in reality it is driven by political correctness rather than by efficient use of the resources we have.
In my view they are all incompetent in Washington and we didn't get rid of near enough of them yet.
