There are a lot of doctors etc that won't take medicaid for that same reason...they lose money. I have a feeling that if this current administration gets their way with health care there are going to be lots of folks out there who won't be able to find a new doctor...and pharmacy...say if they are relocating to a new area all because no new patients will be accepted.

I think we should scrap everything and start over again. This time around lets try really hard not to commit the same mistakes. A lot less Federal government and a lot more local government making the decisions. Treating each state as it's own entity, with the Federal government acting solely as a coordinator when the states need to get together and as a figure head, to represent us on a global level.

If this Obamacare bill passes our son-in-law is going to quit orthopedic surgery after 24 of practicie. He already doesn't take Medicaid patients and hardly any Medicare unless he's taken care of them for a long time. You'll love the 'affirmative action docs' they'll churn out to replace the people you have who achieved their practices through merit and skill.Those who did come up through brains and merit will become as scarce as hen's teeth.

This is really scarry to me since I am about to sign up for Medicaid/Medicare. Now if there is no way to get our meds when needed or even see new Doctors or have no Drs because they quit because of the Gov take over of our health system our generations will not live a long life. What a shame.
