I STRONGLY believe the the replubicans NEED to get back to basics. Less government spending. Reduce taxes. STOP acting like demacraps!! Make a bold stand on real issues. Start acting and being conservatives. I wish we could bring Ronald Reagan back. DARN!

We need to cut to the chase and stick to the values that made this a great party. Stop all of the political correctness and tell it like it is. We are getting too soft on the issues just to appease the liberals.

From what I have been reading and hearing, it appears that the grand ol' GOP has no will or backbone to fight Obama's nominee for the Supreme Court. I simply do not see the GOP reforming itself and getting back to the principles that founded this nation. How can they rebuild themselves when they have abandoned their principles and their conservative base???!!! The GOP seems to have lost its voice, message, and backbone - and this is why I believe we must open up our 2-party system to the Independents if we want real change in Washington. (I am so disappointed and frustrated with the spineless GOP!)

Stop acting like liberals. Stand up for the core beliefs. Stop cowarding out to the media. Act Like George W. Bush did and stand for the country and it's people instead of bashing him for the media. Stand up to the democrats on the Hill. Act like Ronald W. Reagan. Stop apologizing for Reagan. He won American respect twice so did George W. Bush. But mostly stop acting like politicans and really believe in something.

Start acting like conservatives. We can't be all things to all people, oue party base in conservative. That lesson should have been learned in the last go round.

Add this the list:
1. Support for a term limits amendment.
2. Quit worrying about the media. Take a stand on priniciple and just consider the liberal media caterwauling free campaign advertising.

It is easy for Republicans to talk about the faults and problems within the Democrat Party, but it is a whole lot harder for them to openly talk about their own. But until they do, I don't think the Repubs have very much hope for major gains and wins in 2010 and 2012. I guess only time will tell. (Censorship of thought is censorship - no matter which party is doing it).

We first of all need to stick to our conservative principles and values. Secondly stop listening to the Liberals tell us that we are all screwed up and need to change. Republicans are scared to death to stand up to these Libs because they will face media scrutany none like they have ever seen before and fear that the party wont be able to weather the storm. This administration will be its own worst enemy eventually, when the majority of the people that are not paying attention get hit in their pocket books. I was at the Sacramento tea party and there are a whole hell of a lot of like minded people that have had it with this administration. The question is what do we need to do to get these nut job, tax evading socialistic corrupt freaks out of office? Please tell me it won't be too late to undo what they have done!

Conservatives who are not afraid to stand up for what is right, and do NOT back down!!! Speak the truth, don't pander!!! Start speaking out NOW, and don't wait until 2010. It will be too late by then, as the Dems will have ruined our country. Grassroots - people like us MUST take on the responsibility of educating those who are ignorant of what is happening in our country - friends, family, coworkers, youth, seniors, etc!
