I ECHO Marilyn's comments ... have not logged in to this site for a long time [forgot my password! :/ ]. Am a Tea Party Leader in MN [have met weekly for two years ...] and co-founder of the statewide coalition of Tea Party groups as well. Running for Office [MN House of Representatives] for the first time ... with a Primary in August [resoundingly defeated a 22 year incumbent RINO for the Republican Endorsement w/70% of the vote on the first ballot at our Endorsing Convention who is now challenging me in the Primary]. Trying my level best to 'keep up' with the assaults on our freedom on a daily basis ... receive and try to read over 300+ e-mails a day. Those are my 'excuses' as to why I've not been here. For me personally, I am drawn in a thousand different directions every day, keeping up with websites, blogs, RSS feed aggregators, FB, Twitter, phone conversations, health issues and lots of other stuff. It doesn't help that we aren't satisfied to work with a few well read and intelligent social websites. There are dozens springing up daily. That may be a problem.
What it actually does is it increases the number of little voices, and decreases the volume of the Conservative movement overall. I know, everyone has a particular flavor they favor, but it does make things more difficult in the end. It draws Conservative writers and thinkers into divergent channels and overall that mutes our voice. I would make the case that in this age when it's easy for "anyman" to have a blog and a FB page and a Twitter account, the temptation is to put one's opinions out there in the hopes someone will listen. Further, it may pay us in the long run to let the opposition do the dithering and let us spend a few hard hours hashing out our beliefs in private, then looking for already established Conservative outlet(s) upon which we might concentrate.
I believe it is our duty to disallow the opposition to "divide and conquer" Conservatives of whatever stripe. It is our duty to aggregate our power as much as conscience will allow, delegating that power to a chosen group of Conservative representatives within the most conservative party available which has the ability to win elections. In so doing, we will make our voices heard, our will felt and so take back the reins of a runaway stagecoach that will otherwise plunge over the cliffs ahead and kill us all.Viva America! After they passed the UNaffordable Health Insurance crap, I lost my mojo. Then the media chose Romney for us. He will have my 100% support but he was my very last choice. I check Drudge everyday. That is about it for me. Too bummed to blog!!! I will come back though. Just to read, not much of a poster. (Unless it must be said)

My time has been spent working at local Republican Party politics (an early theme here was to become involved at the local party level). I'm responsible for the GOTV in the county and in that role will be working with some of the campaigns, including Romney's, to get voters most likely to pull the handle for a Republican candidate to the polls.
It's important for us all to remember that the other down ticket races are important, as we more conservatives in office.

Stop the President hell, congress funds him and he enforces the laws congress enacts. Sad part is "we" elect and reeeelect Congressmen every two years; reference Article I, Section 1. All laws for raising federal revenue must start in the House (those Congressmen we reeeeelect every two years); reference Article I, Section 7.

Perhaps it could be , we are received well, a lot of us learn from here, or, People like myself, Keep you entertained with mind blowing Issues, or off the wall topics.
Or our Petitions on issues. The ongoing battle with The MEDIA. Information, you may not have.

Yes, we are wasting time, and losing our country and liberty in the meantime, talking (nonsense) about what is going on (news) without also talking about solutions. I'll assure everyone bashing a president and talking politics is no solution to be found there. When we hold elected Officials (particularly Congressmen, accountable to the 1787 Constitution's Oath of Office (which Oath is required; Article VI, clause 3) then we will see some positive results toward slowing down the loss of our freedoms and Rights.
