Wonderful, enlightening post Shayn. I get information also, but I use biblical principles to guide me. That is the only way to know the truth. I want to see our country show Obama how wrong he is that The USA is a Christian Nation!

http://www.kcm.org/real-help/prophecy/i-will-hold-you-responsible
Prophecy delivered by Kenneth Copeland on April 6, 2012 Living Victory West Coast Faith Encounter
“I will,” saith the Lord, “hold you responsible for voting for whom I tell you to vote. And you can’t get out of it by not voting. I’ll hold you responsible for voting for the wrong one if you do that.”
First Lady Michelle Obama has opened the doors for the churches to discuss the realities of government politics and morality. There is just a little time to make lasting changes. National Conventions for Democrats and Republican are near the end of August and early September when they will choose their candidates; Socialist candidates for 2012 are preparing to be on the ballot. WE must proclaim our goal of God's wisdom ruling our nation as a kingdom of God. God will supply the candidate.
God gives us what we want and what we are willing to fight for and sacrifice all for. This is a time for fearful disbelievers to remember the power and glory ahead. We dwell in a moment of time, and all eternity is our reward. Where will it be, with believers or disbelievers in the God of the whole earth? We must not wait for Christ, because he comes triumphant; he is waiting for us to open the door to our hearts and our nation. The goal is that the world would embrace God's government, His written wisdom in the whole Bible.
Moral Issues: Following God's truth, or ignoring it. Letting our helpfulness be voluntary or forced. Worshiping the sinner, or the God who wants to turn the sinner to a better life. Approving killing our children for the sake of employment and fear, or trusting God will provide as promised.
Seeking a lifetime of jobs, insurances, and health care, or God's true freedom with good health.
We can talk about these issues, and put them in our emails and bulletins.
Isaiah 9:6, 7 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder; and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God., The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (7) Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
Jesus said, You cannot serve God and mammon (money-world system). That is because they are in opposite directions. Man's way is lifelong glorified slavery, pollution, disease, insurance and taxes, families separated and oppressive bills for unnecessary things. God's way is a garden paradise lifestyle with good health from the lack of stress and the abundance of peace and freedom.
A garden paradise lifestyle far exceeds lifelong glorified slavery. The way is prepared for us.

Permalink Reply by G. R. on July 2, 2012 at 8:10pm The reason I left is still here, it had slipped my mind how annoying it can become. Romney was my LAST choice but he will be the nominee. People like EVELYN will cause me to stay away. Instead of working on solutions she bashes and tries to cause turmoil. So Romney was FOR choice before he was against it. I had never given abortion any thought at all and really had no opinion on choice. Then 19 years ago I became pregnant at 36 (3rd child), and the people advising me to get an abortion was stunning. That is when I actually thought about what was being done and became adamantly pro life. This is why I understand someone to flip flop on that issue. Coming to this site and constantly trolling every post will not make Ron Paul president. It just hurts the conservative cause. His name is Romney BTW and you might do a bit of research instead of just pasting talking points.
And it is people like G.R. that make me stay away, they can't handle a conversation, if it doesn't suit them. And they continue to do the same thing over again and expect new results. it is pretty obvious the current illegal in the white house didn't get vetted. I guess we should just take Robmey at his word as well. And by the way, her is some more vetting for you:

Permalink Reply by G. R. on July 2, 2012 at 8:44pm He will be the nominee. Exactly what do you think distorting his name does for your effort? It makes you no different than the liberal trolls that do the same thing.
Go right ahead and encourage people to stay home from the polls, or to vote third party. When Obama is re-elected you can smile smugly to yourself, knowing you had a hand in it. Come January you will have no right to b gripe ch either.

Do you think it matters, if he is not going to undo the damage then what is the difference?
I think Getting rid of BO is a pipe dream in the first place. If you look how afraid everyone of the judges are of holding his feet to the fire, and how blantly he looks us in the face and breaks the law, UNCHALLENGED, No I truly expect the dirty tricks to get as low as they can possibly go.
And I will not pretend that the GOP nominee is going to save us, when he has his own track record of
the same tactics, as it is Romney did not win all these states to get him the nomination, it was dirty politics. The elite offer up the candidate that they can control. We are in big trouble, and it is going to take an act of GOD to save us.
Permalink Reply by Mike Mott on July 2, 2012 at 8:56pm Ron Paul has nothing (zip, zero, nada) in his background to indicate he knows how to implement ideas. Romney (who wasn't even my 3rd choice) does have a record of accomplishment and getting things done. That is one of the essential attributes we need in the president.
Doing something big, such as overhauling entitlements, is going to take a broad national consensus. Ron Paul will never get that done. So he may be right on the issues, but that's insufficient to the task at hand. Romney has demonstrated the ability to create broad coalitions to tackle serious challenges.
Romney is not going to do it himself either. What he needs is a Congress with a renewed fear of voters. The TEA Party has done a good job of putting fear into incumbents, but we need more of it this election season.
Sniping at the Republican nominee may do something (I'm not sure what), but it certainly isn't constructive as it relates to the task of changing the nation's direction. In addition, and I think you would agree, that Obama needs to be replaced in order to repeal the ACA. Romney''s the candidate who will run against Obama, and that's the reality of the situation. Being angry about it, won't change a thing.
Have you actually looked into the state of affairs in MA. There isn't anything you can do that is legal in that state, it has the least freedoms, and it has Romney care, yes obama care started there first but it was Romney care. Angry is not quite the word I would use scared is more like it. We have maby one chance at getting this right, and I am looking at a candidate that has a bad record in his public sector life, but has done well for HIMSELF.

But still, Romney will be the nominee. That's the reality of the situation. What's the point of trying to tear him down?

And this is why we need to put some fear into Congress. I don't trust Romney's instincts, but he can't do damage by himself but needs the help of the Hill. The job in November is to replace Obama AND put more conservatives into Congress. Romney is what we have to work with. I would be happier if it was different, but it is not.
Permalink Reply by Jim Robinson on July 12, 2012 at 12:12pm Like it or not, the fact is that Romney will be the GOP nominee to run against 0bama, folks. Griping about it won't change it. Not only do we have to vote 0bama out of office, but we have to vote more Conservatives into the House and Senate to support Romney and keep him on the right track. Now is not the time to drop out of the election and throw our votes away simply because Romney wasn't our conservative choice; if we do, 0bama will get another 4 years in office. DOES ANYONE HERE REALLY WANT TO SEE THAT HAPPEN ?!! We can let Romney know that we Conservatives are keeping a very close eye and watch on him and expect him to show some conservative backbone or risk losing our vote in 2016, but all this griping and sniping needs to stop because it only helps out 0bama!
Well for anyone intrested in what moveon.org is up to, I got this this morning:
Dear MoveOnmember,
MoveOn members just came together in a big first day of fundraising for our creative campaign against Mitt Romney. Now we can already fund two of the six brilliant new ad scripts exposing Romney as the candidate of the 1%. But the other four are just too good to let go.
Can you chip in $5 to help make a series of devastating ads about M...
