Why I became a Black Conservative (my conservative bro's and sis want to know)
OK...I will explain this so everyone can get this..Including Liberals (if they can read) so I will finally put this to rest so I won't be asked this question again...
OK here goes...I was a Liberal (Democrat) all my life Before Sept 11,2001..Yes...I was a Liberal Bug...I didn't follow Politics that much...But I hated Republicans...cause they were for the rich white man...bla bla bla...Sorry...but this is what black Liberals think...Most of the time I just let them go on...cause it's more of a headache telling them the truth then arguing with them about something they know nothing about....
SO..Sept 11 comes...i'm sleep in my bed...and I got a call from my mom...Now i work for American Airlines...and I just happen to be off that day..My mom calls...and says...Thank god you are all right...What are you talking about MOM...She says. Why is your Airplanes flying into buildings..I was so sleepy...I just blew her off and went back to bed...something in me said turn the TV on...I did...and I watched the second plane fly into building 2 as soon as i got a picture on the TV...that day...after I freaked out...I was glued to the TV...that day it changed my life...the mainstream driveby Media was just reporting on the news,..But never said why it happened.Who was responsible...etc etc..I was obsessed to find out why it happened...So
Before I take a flight it takes me 2 hours to get to the airport every single day...living in KansasCity at the time...Yeah I know...Don't ask me why,..I listen to Talk radio faithfully...I didn't know it lean to the right at the time...I just wanted to know Why..why.why 3000 of my bro and sis in NY had to die...Shortly after 5 days we started flying again...Listening to Rush Limbaugh at the time.I didn't know who he was...he was in NY at the time..I will never forget what he said...he said he went down to see where it once stood...and he was mad as hell...and he will single handedly find out who was responsible...He had a new listener that day..I flew to NY when planes started flying again myself.and saw the debree first hand,..I WAS PISSED...AND A TEAR CAME OUT OF MY EYE...people out in the street selling pics and souverneers..
Listening to Rush,Sean and Michael Savage...I've learned a lot...Learning that it took 5 yrs to put this plan together..Which Clinton was President...But at the time ..I didn't know that Clinton had weaken our Military..weaken our Intellegence...None of the agencies were talking to each other...This action we got the first WORLD TRADE CENTER BOMBING.our Military ship..the USS Cole...and 2 of our embassies bombed...All because of a weaken intellegence from the Clinton adminstrations...So soon enuf I stumbled onto Fox News...
and I knew that the Democrat Clinton administration was Responsible listening to FOX..So i was a man with no Party...at this time...I didn't know much of George Bush...But he seem to be honest and sincere..and wanted revenge...Plus Rush liked him...now for all you Rush listeners out there ,..he's the type of man that says what has happened or what will happened...and he backs it up...I remember Rush said..Here is a excerp of democratic minority leader Tom Daschel saying this is not a American problem..this was a NYC problem...And he played him saying this...after that..

Never again will I vote Democrat..When I moved here to LasVegas...I got my voters reg card...The guy at the DMV looked at me with shock that I was a black republican...and told me...Why do you want to become a republican...You aren't rich...I got pissed at that statement...And told him...I WOULDN'T BE CAUGHT DEAD BEING IN THE SAME PARTY WITH YOU.later that day...I got a email saying...come down to the Athletic Club...Free BBQ for all conservatives...bring your voters reg card...And when I went there...I HAD A BLAST...so many friendly and nice people...Cause I have learn Liberals are Angry people...they are always pissed about something.... and thats it...Conservatives are more friendlier,,fun loving party.....AND I AM PROUD TO BE A CONSERVATIVE...

God bless you for your honesty.. I wish that other democrats could see what you see and stand firm in their Christianity.. Many Dems are Christians, yet you really cannot follow God & Christ and be a democrat .. The democrat leaders have a firm grip on many black and hispanics and outright lie to them to keep them in their grips.. If these people actuallly begin to question the Democrats motives etc, they might wake up and leave that party..
I also think there are many problems with the Republicans also.. I have voted republican, but sometimes i get sooo frustrated because they presently appear to be just fence sitting and not being more proactive.. thanks again for your thoughts on why you changed.. It is sooo refreshing to hear..

Ron, I so appreciate your story and sharing it here. I hope many others that perhaps "wonder" what conservatism is all about will read your story and discover freedom for themselves. It is includes all those things that helped make this country great. And it stands in stark contrast to the ideas of this current administration, the welfare mentality, and the Marxist goals of government control/ownership of what American citizens have built and created.
It is good to call you friend, too, man. Keep up the good work.

Well...Lots of people were asking me...How did you as a blackman become a Conservative...I just got tired of explaining it...so I put it on the web..SO EVERYONE CAN SEE...Some black people CARE ABOUT THEIR COUNTRY ALSO...I just rather have a brain and see with my own eyes instead of anyone that disagrees with me...being labeled as a racist...because I'm being Labeled as a Uncle tom...because i have misguide Liberal friends,...I refuse to talk politics with a Liberal again...Cause after the debates...I have to take a Advil...

My mom was a liberal Democrat. Any time that I tried to talk to her about polotics or religion she just got mad and shut down the conversation. She could not stand the fact that I became a conservitive Republican. I do not understand why liberals do not want to be challenged. They don't seem to be able to sit down for some lively give and take.
