john stephenson i put 21 years in the us military and my health plan is through the VA not like the politicans which 1 term have better health plan then i ever would bettere pay thier pay compared to ours ours is a joke i could go on for hours but this health plan of obama's is just another plan to ruin our system just hope the people wake up in time to see what he is doing and where he is going it makes me mad that being a veteran of 20 plus years in the military they get bettere everything that is our elected officals elected officals they are surpose to work FOR US thank you all sorry about my rammling makes me mad

I've even heard that some states have/are considering using their 10 ammendment soveriegnty rights against being forced to sign on to this health plan.

The president tried to get around these realities by saying the bills before Congress don't meet all of his tests. But the question is, why not? He abdicates his responsibilities in not making it crystal clear which tests must be met and how.

The nation's governors are joining the chorus of public officials and citizens voicing serious concerns about health reform's costs and consequences: They fear it would dump huge costs on the states at a time their coffers are running dry under the recession's pressures.

Undaunted, liberals still demand that Obama not budge on creating a new government health-insurance program modeled on Medicare (which, not incidentally, is set to go bankrupt in just a few years).

Yet a key minority of Democrats and virtually all Republicans strongly oppose the "public plan" because they know it will put private insurers out of business, leaving Americans only with the "choice" of a government health program. Rep. Dan Boren (D-Okla.) told his constituents this week: "The current health-insurance plan that's been released, in my opinion, will only exacerbate the problem."

Valerie Hitler claimed (and many Austrians agreed with him) that Austria was actually a territory of Germany. So he was as German, as Hillary is black. But still the people of Germany 'wanted' him.

There's a 'parallel' there to our current situation, don't you think?

Yes, yes yes! I agree. Term limits and INSTANT recall are wonderful ideas. That would surely put a fire under our ELECTED "representative" government.

Valerie some states have instant recall at state and local town level but i do not thiks it is national as it well should be. if congress knew we (us)(our precious group) was watching they would be more circumspect. circmspect that is pretty good for a saturday afternoon, at least for me. fight for term limits and instant recall, yes, yes yes.
