Growing up I heard my pastor every Sunday exclaim the same statement. The statement is simple, but hold the meaning for a truly successful life and a powerful nation. In times like these, the 2009 reinforces the need to begin proclaim the simple statement of old. Everyday we are seeing our nation turn into a nation that hates God. How could this be, a nation that was established on the principles of God's Word, turning her back on the essence of what made this nation great. Throughout history, you can see the hand of God touching the lives of the citizens of this nation. You can see how God has protected her from enemies. The further that we move away from God, the more we see chaos, murder, adultery, drunkeness, violence and all manners of evil take over the lives of her citizens.

People are becoming more tolerant of those in leadership to allow them to do what they want, without standing up for what is right. In every person there is a trait to know right from wrong. Some people recognize this trait, others ignore it to please themselves.

Secular Humanism is running rampant throughout the schools systems, endorsing the statement of Hitler, "Give me your children until the age of 5 and they will be mine forever". There are individuals throughout this world that are trying to destroy this great nation through the generation to come.

We as parents and adults need to instill the core values of God's Word and what this nation was founded upon.

By now you are probably wondering what the full statement was that I got the privilege to hear every sunday, well it is simple, but very true.

"Stay by the Word of God, and the God of the Word will stay by you"

I encourage you to ponder these words, and meditate on the truths contained within it.
