"Git 'er DONE"!!! The American people, as a whole, do NOT "need to know" the hows and the whys, as much as they need to know that they are safe!! I served seven years total, two branches with our military, and not once, NEVER!! Did I question the "why" of what I was doing!! The bible says, clearly that: "whomever protects Israel will receive God's protection"!! We are their ONLY ally!! Let's do, at least this job, the RIGHT WAY!! THANK YOU GEORGE W.!!!!!!!!!! Folks - just stop responding to CD. He has clearly proven that he is only here to troll and not engage in meaningful conversation - and the more he comes back, the more he will be banned yet again.

CD - we have heard your rants against Bush over and over again, so it's time to shut up and go away. You don't like Bush - we get it already, but many people here are truly grateful for what he did to protect us from more terrorist attacks. If you don't like it, move on already! Enough said. You have worn out your welcome mat, so go back to your job and stop harassing folks here. End of story and conversation with you.

... and Max, the presence of websites promoting the Conservative viewpoint, no problem. I don't surf them, I don't post. The presence of a website THANKING W. for "Keeping Us Safe" I cannot abide without giving the opposing viewpoint. H did more to endanger this country and cause ill will with the rest of the world than any president in the last 100 years.

Um, Carrie, we torture people too, but I guess that's ok since we don't do it to US citizens. Let's put that aside for a second.

Human Rights Watch documents the following countries as using torture on its own citizens (Google it if you don't believe me):
China, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Malaysia, Morocco, Nepal, North Korea, Pakistan, Russia, Syria, Turkey, Uganda, and Uzbekistan.

So, when do we invade?

Yes, Hussein was a big old meanie, but there are big old meanies all over the world, and we aren't invading those countries and trying (and failing miserably) to build democracies there because they are torturing their people.
