  When a person takes, The Oath Of The President, it it as follows,
 "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.
"
 I am submitting a NEW phrase be added to the Oath. The addition will be,
 
 
 "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will ( AS AN AMERICAN CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ) faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.
