You might want to discuss your concerns with Jason Murphy. He's been listed as a strong supporter of constitutional conservatism on this very group because of his solid conservative voting record.
Why Rep. Murphy in particular?
Because he has actually written about very specific problems with term limits.
Addressing the problems caused by the lack of term limits is very important.
(IMHO, at the federal level, if we end the Fed and address all other residual concerns (of where there are many) discussed at OurCaucus.com, we'll address most of your actual concerns - the residual concerns might be addressed by limiting terms on specific committees, etc.?????).
If there are other concerns which remain after addressing the larger issues of the Fed itself and the problems such as earmarks and how that is eroding representative government, such concerns should be addressed with Representative Murphy's concerns in mind, IMHO.
They are very valid concerns to address......... problems that would definitively arise if term limits were simply cut short (especially if the term limits were set for very short periods of time).
