UPDATE: Mr. Clemons is being picked up from the Airport as I type this. Please take time to add your thanks today. I will be printing these off tonight and giving his book to him tomorrow.

I bought a very manly looking journal from Barnes and Noble and turned it into a "THANK YOU and an APPRECIATION BOOK" for a friend of mine who is deployed in Iraq. His name is Mr. Clemons - He's in the navy.

Would you please consider writing a note (short or long) to add to his book? I will then print your note and paste it into his journal. If you don't know what to say...you can still contribute by allowing me to put your name in his journal on a page that I have made for people who don't know what to write but do want to say "Thank You" by adding your name.

You can leave your notes here in "Reply to This" or you can send them to me in a private message. You can also share with me here if you would just like to add your name.

Please also invite your friends here to add their note as well. You may have friends here and on other networks that I do not know of. Thanks for all of your support and help.

(Mr. Clemons)

Thank you,

Twana a.k.a. Humble Infidel

Dear Mr. Clemons,
It is hard to find the words adequate to express my heartfelt gratitude for your love and willingness to defend our country and our freedoms. THANK YOU sir and I Salute you. I also pray for your protection and safe return home before long. God bless you!
Mr. Clemons Sir, it's quite the Honor and Priveledge to thank you for your Service. I'm sorry you have to go but I deeply appreciate you making the sacrifice. Stay safe and come home soon. You'll always be a hero in my heart.

I'm an old navy vet from vietnam era, i'd like to say "Thank You for your service"!
May God Bless
Mr. Clemons, Welcome Home! Glad ya made it Son. Many of us worry about you fellas overseas and it is such a relief to see one of y'all make it back. We are still praying for your brothers left behind. I am hoping you are home for good. I remember the days of long-distant relations when my old man was overseas. It is never easy and it seems like those hurts still have not gone away even after 25yrs.

I don't know if you have parents or G'parents, but if you have I am sure they feel a profound relief to know that you are on American soil again. I also pray that the Lord gives your wife or sweetheart strength to hold down the fort while you are ever away again. She should read that book by Jimmy Doolittle. It's not so much what he says about his wife-it's more what he doesn't say. He could do all the marvelous things he did because he was not worried about the homefront.

My heart goes out to all our Service boys in this time of war. I am angry when I see waste or abuse and I waste no time pointing out idiocy. Especially with gasoline or food. Many times I've said, how dare you waste that - our boys are at WAR! All of us are not acting like we are in disneyland while you boys are towing the line.

I worry that the military has become much like high skool after what Billyclinton did. Out here in the boonies I don't have much contact with folks I can ask. I only hope you are a worthy leader and your commanders are worthy too. Righteous men. For you will need the hand of God to beat these crazies. They have gone worldwide. I just don't trust our leaders. I do trust y'all. More than anything we have going. I trust our military.

Many of us are more than disgruntled at our elected officials. We are fighting on the homefront to restore the Constitution. The only reason we are able to fight is because of people like you. We will not quit come hell or high water. You are not overseas fighting for our country for the rest of us to let it go socialist. No, Sir!

Your service is never forgotten. Not yours and not the guys on the Cole. Never, Son, how you put yourself in harms way. God Bless your coming in and going out. adios!

p.s. My Uncle Fred was a squid in the big WW2 out in the south pacific. Sure miss the Missouri being parked in Bremerton.

As a former Vietnam combat medic, I wish to say thank you for your honorable service to our Country. I do know what it is like to be far from home and missing loved ones. Be assured that you are not forgotten, but many prayers of love and protection are daily going to you and your family. May God bless you and keep you in His loving arms.

Dear Mr. Clemons,
How does it feel to do the right thing for your country?
I hope you're proud as can be! I sure proud of you and grateful to you.

We on this blog are standing firm here and taking it to the domestic enemy while you are taking it to the foreign lot.

May God bless you and your loved ones.
Dear Mr. Clemons:
I want to thank you for representing our country and going in faith and having boldness to go forward into positive areas of danger. Many young people have done so before; some wern't fortunate enough to come home. I will put you on my prayer list and though we may never meet in this earthly life, I believe we will in the eternal and hereafter. Be well and be blessed and know that God watches over you. J. Cisneros
Thank you so much for your brave service, you sexy b****!
Dear Mr. Clemons and all you are working with. Thank you for your service and sacrifice to our country. We are proud and thankful for what you are doing for all of us. As a military family, we understand that it is a family affair, so thank you to your family. Be safe, be well and God Bless all of you! Thanks to all the men and women in the Armed Services on this Memorial Day serving and having served.

Duty, Honor, Country!
