UPDATE: Mr. Clemons is being picked up from the Airport as I type this. Please take time to add your thanks today. I will be printing these off tonight and giving his book to him tomorrow.

I bought a very manly looking journal from Barnes and Noble and turned it into a "THANK YOU and an APPRECIATION BOOK" for a friend of mine who is deployed in Iraq. His name is Mr. Clemons - He's in the navy.

Would you please consider writing a note (short or long) to add to his book? I will then print your note and paste it into his journal. If you don't know what to say...you can still contribute by allowing me to put your name in his journal on a page that I have made for people who don't know what to write but do want to say "Thank You" by adding your name.

You can leave your notes here in "Reply to This" or you can send them to me in a private message. You can also share with me here if you would just like to add your name.

Please also invite your friends here to add their note as well. You may have friends here and on other networks that I do not know of. Thanks for all of your support and help.

(Mr. Clemons)

Thank you,

Twana a.k.a. Humble Infidel

What a Lovely idea! I sure would love to say 'THANK YOU'!

Dear Mr. Clemons, How are you? Is it true that it gets boring since there seems to be stability in most areas of Iraq? I sure hope so! Not that I want you to be bored, no! At least this way you will have time to read the book Twana sent you. lol. If there is a Sailor that you know who is not receiving any letters or care packages from home, please let Twana know his name and address. (Shh, but I am a Soldiers' Angel, too.) We believe no one should go unloved (or cared for), and we want you all to know how much we really do appreciate all that you do for us. I thank you all (and you) so much. It would just be wrong of me not to do all I can to do my little part to help make life a tiny bit easier. Thank you again, and God bless and keep your team, your family and you.

" No greater sacrifice has a man than to lay down his life for his friends "
This is Nobility! Nobility defined; The quality of being exalted in character or ideals or conduct- A priviledged class holding hereditary titles.
First, to the Families of fallen Heroes. I can offer only these small words of consolation, in some sense of gratitude for the bitter anquish of losing a loved one in this war. These words cannot replace your Loved ones and I will not ever bring to thought or debate the personal sacrifice they made for me and my Family, and I should say, nor should you. Let's Honor them and respect what they did. I will be careful to never forget their sacrifices, though I do not know them each one by name, I know each name mentioned as a true American, and I will not slander that sacrifice, God forbid in any way. May God in his omnipotent wisdom replace that emptiness of your loved one as he only, knows how.
To the comrads who fight today. Of my own oath, there is not one day that goes by, that you men and women who are in this campaign are prayed for in faith. I make mention for your safety. It is what I can do for you everyday, since your lives are on the line for my family. That God would warn you of impending danger, steer you away from the threat, and the intended harm ment for you would fall back onto those who would plot against you.
My only regret! I no of no other words that can better say it of more excellence speech than " Thank You " for defending our nation of any and all who dare try or test our resolve. Let us be careful to fill our hearts with the right type of pride, and not allow self centered pride to lead us.
