One Wisconsin Now Attempts to Intimidates Tea Party and Patriot Groups With Threat of Legal Action
On September 20th One Wisconsin Now, a liberal group, held a press conference in which they were asking that the US Attorney's office investigate alleged voter caging (voter intimidation) by the Republican Party of Wisconsin, Americans For Prosperity of Wisconsin and several independent tea party groups from around the State including; Wisconsin Grandsons of Liberty, Eau Claire Tea Party and Racine Tea Parry and others.
Video of the conference can be found on the their site www.onewisconsinnow.org and, the new site they setup to fight us, www.savewisconsinsvote2010.org.
Their allegations stem form a voter fraud presentation that was given at a conference, where about 40 of the now 80 tea party and patriot groups leadership from around Wisconsin came to working together on common objectives. Audio of the presentation can be found on the 2 sites listed above. The audio was taken without the knowledge or consent of most the people present. Listen to the audio and judge for yourself the validity of their claims.
Unfortunately for One Wisconsin Now we are different from the Republican Party in that we stand up and fight back. As such we are asking that all the supports of the Tea Party movement in Wisconsin do 3 thing. First, call One Wisconsin Now at 608-204-0677 and let them know what you think of their actions. Second, we ask that you also call your local media or send letters to the editor of your local paper and let them know what you think of One Wisconsin Now actions. And third, get all your friends and family to do the same.
In the past many of us would have wondered what we can do to stop these kinds of things. But with the emergence of the Tea Party movement we now know we just have to let our voices be heard, collectively. If we expect to regain or freedom we must not let them continue to control the discourse, they need to know they have a real fight on their hands. And we need everyone's help to push back and push back hard.
