In terms of GDP, Mexico is ranked #12 in the world with a population only a-third the size of the U.S. The U.S. is rated #2 in the World with a population of 300 million people. Mexico's Labor Force is 47 million, the 12th. largest, the U.S. with its 154.1 million workers is in 4th. place. Unemployment in Mexico is 5.6%, 51st in the world, while, in the U.S. its 9.3% of a population that is three…See More

Immigration, Candidate Survey

Our friends at numberusa have prepared a Candidate Survey forincumbents and candidates that will provide important insight into theviews of our elected officials, in advance of the November mid-termelections. Obviously, politicians will resist any effort to pin themdown on any subject, but; the November mid-term elections may be themost important elections any of us will ever have the opportunity toparticipate in. As such, it's vital that we determine which incumbentsand candidates share our…See More

Texas & Immigration Enforcement

Many of the groups and members in the Texas movement are ramping up fora big immigration enforcement push before memorial day. I'd like to askthat all of you get involved and stay involved in this issue. Indeed, Ican think of no problem confronting the citizens of Texas or the largerUnited States that would not be measurably improved by securing ourborders, and enforcing our immigration laws at the Local, County, Stateand Federal level. Kahan unqualified for SCOTUS

By now many of you are aware that the media, social engineers, and virtually every 'special interest advocacy' are beating the drum for Supreme Court Nominee Elena Kagan. Not surprising in the rush to impress even more liberal disposition upon our courts are the demands of liberals that Nominee Kagans total lack or Judicial experience be disregarded as a consideration of this nominee.I had hope that the Obama Administration would take the opportunity to appoint a well qualified well experienced…See More

Southern Baptist Leaders support Amnesty contrary to views of Church Members

Posted on June 21, 2010 at 11:18am 0 Comments

Thanks to our Friends at numberusa.com for the heads up on this:

On June 15, a group of liberal Evangelical Christian and Catholic religious leaders met at the Brookings Institution think tank in Washington, D.C., to discuss one thing: how religious activism can

achieve an amnesty for illegal aliens.

This conference follows in the wake of a Capitol Hill forum

where liberal Evangelical Christian and Catholic leaders met… Continue

Immigration and Religion

I find it deeply disturbing, both as a person of faith, and an American

Citizen that Church Leaders (from all denominations) are (often

against the will of the faithful) continuing to involve the Church and

Church members in the secular battle over Amnesty, Open Borders,

and our immigration laws. As devout a believer as there is, I fancy

myself likewise devoted to our constitution. The Founders wisely made

provision for the advancement of faith, without the… Continue

House introducing legislation to force taxpayers to bailout underfunded and mismanaged Union Pensions!

These bills are: the Preserve Benefits and Jobs Act of 2009

(HR 3936 by Rep. Earl Pomeroy D-ND), and the Create Jobs

and Save Benefits Act of 2010 (S3157 by Sen. Bob Casey D-PA).

Interestingly, labor unions are listed among the top five contributors

to Rep. Pomeroy.

More than 100 of the nation's largest multi-employer pension funds (generally… Continue
