If anyone saw the MTV Awards ( I don't watch them I only saw this clip) Kanye West apparently felt the need to stand up and take a winning moment away from Taylor Swift in order to proclaim that Beyonce had the best video of the year. I know this isn't a really big issue, but it is one that got my Irish up. I was just watching Fox News and they were reporting that Kanye West got up and basically took away the moment of Taylor Swift winning an MTV award. He stood up and basically said that Beyonce should have one because she had the best music video of the year. This week I opened my local community paper to read the following editorial headline"
"Republicans, birthers and wackos". Well, I live in Minnesota, which is one of the most liberal states in the Union these days. Our editor is known for being highly liberal as well. In fact, I don't even have a subscription to the newpaper for that fact. My office does carry a subscription and therefore I am subjected to it weekly, especially if I want to read about any local happenings.
