Since 2005 I have been trying to get help. I found it !
Veterans Career House of Biddeford, MaineIt is SEADOG's intention that this residence will become the pilot model for more facilities like this one throughout the great state of Maine, maybe even throughout our great nation.

In 2005 I was hurt working, I was contracted by the company I was working for to another to rebuild the largest American Crawler Built and operated by a scrap metal group in New York. When I got hurt everyone started the shuffle. No worries, I'm a Veteran. And so begin my struggle to get help. About mid way through 2009, several friends gathered their funds and sent me here to the state of Maine. Homeless, in the freezing weather living by my wits, I was finally able to become accepted to this facility.
An organization know here as CHOM ( Community Housing of Maine ), got together with the VA ( Veterans Administration ) and bought this facility. It has been here since 2006, little known and mostly forgotten. Many Veterans have passed through these doors, many to new homes and productive jobs.
Some of us here, wondered, what if there were more of these facilities throughout the state. What if there was one in every county in this state. That would be sixteen total. How many Homeless Veterans would be able to have a warm, secure place to rebuild their lives.
Thoughts, comments and opinions anyone.
Here is what we think may work !
GOD bless everyone ! May you and yours be healthy, wealthy and wise.
If you don't shout to the world, you deserve what you get, NOTHING !!!
