Four Great Religious Truths.
During these serious times, people of all faiths should remember these four basic religious truths:
1. Muslims do not recognize Jews as God's chosen people.
2. Jews do not recognize Jesus as the Messiah.
3. Protestants do not recognize the Pope as the leader of the Christian world.
4. Southern Baptists do not recognize each other at Hooters.
And finally, The Almighty Gave Us A Little Break .....

This was posted on a friend's blog on another site and I thought it was worth reposting. I also think that honesty, courtesy and sincerity went also in a lot of cases, but I think there are enough of us left that we can restore him!

There are not many of us in this blue state. It really isn't about rep. or dem. any more, it is conservative with morals and principals, basically what is right and what is wrong... De. has a rude awakening, since Chrysler shut down, GM closing the Saturn plant, Duponts layoff, azstra zeneca lay off, Auto dealerships (and de. has a ton of them) laying off.... You also listed "Family" as an interest so I would also point you to a group called “Defend Marriage.” It was recently started by Pearl Diver from Southern California who is very committed to, and active in the preservation and defense of marriage and family. As you know, their recently passed Proposition 8 is getting hammered by perverse opponents of traditional marriage and so you may want to join Pearl to lend encouragement and support.
Then, there's the Defend Life group, the Honorable US Troops group, plus a multitude of others that run the political and personality spectrum. Take your pick(s) and have fun!
