Email from the President

This is the second time I've gotten an email on my university account from the Obama staff. I got one during the campaigns and quickly opted out but my roommate got dozens of them. I contacted ITS and asked them how the campaign got my email and I never got a response. Now today, I got one, and it says that I signed up at Whitehouse.gov. I assure you I never have singed up for anything. Isn't this illegal? If it isn't it sure as hell should be. Let me know if anyone else has received this…See More

Good morning America, it’s March 30, 2039

Good morning America, it’s March 30, 2039, you’re watching ANBC.There is big news out of Washington today. Emperor Obama confirmed that he will turn over power to his son-in-law Manuel Chavez on July 4th of this year. You may remember that His Excellency arranged the marriage of Malia and Manuel, who is the grandson of Hugo Chavez, the former President of Venezuela. As part of that agreement, Manuel was slated to be heir to the thrown. Emperor Obama says that he is confident in Manuel’s ability…See More

A difference of philosophy.

Posted on March 25, 2009 at 2:19pm 5 Comments

Most people in this country don't care about politics. They don't care why people make decisions, as long as it is the right decision. They may not know the difference between a liberal and a conservative, or they just don't care. The fact is that the differences are not only deeply seeded but extremely important. The differences aren't about taxes, abortion, or education. The differences are about philosophy. I used to think I was a liberal, I was wrong. Now, I am proud to be a conservative,… Continue

Let me be Frank

Posted on March 18, 2009 at 10:17am 2 Comments

As I'm sitting here watching the hearing on AIG today. I was forced to turn it off once Barney Frank came on the screen. It made me sick. How does a person like Barney Frank become one of the most influential people in this country? Now I know this is like beating a dead horse but I plan to write an editorial in my local paper about this and writing a blog will help me do research and collect my thoughts. It is sickening to think that an immoral, lying, hypocritical piece of garbage like Frank… Continue

My letter to Senator Grassley

Posted on March 17, 2009 at 9:43am 3 Comments

I am from Iowa and I heard what senator Grassley said yesterday. This is what I wrote to him this morning.

I don’t know if you were taken out of context or not, but it has been reported that you wanted the executives at AIG to commit suicide for taking bonuses with taxpayer money. I have great respect for you I am a Conservative Republican and I stand behind you on most issues, but I will not stand for this. We all need to take a step back for a moment.

#1 Congress and the… Continue

Hope is not a strategy.

Because of my job, I am privy to a lot of interesting things that most people never even hear about. Recently, I attended a class that a couple of our officers are putting together on ALICE. It is a class which is meant to teach and prepare people to deal with campus shooters. The purpose of the class is to give you tools that you can use during a situation. What really struck me was the philosophy. The statistics say that your chances are very low of being a victim to a campus shooter, but… Continue
