California Supreme Court Upholds Proposition 8!

This morning the Supreme Court of California ruled 6-1 in favor of Proposition 8. I am immensely relieved that this state’s judiciary was inspired to reaffirm the right of the people of California to amend our own Constitution as we see fit. I am relieved that my Nov. 4th vote didn’t come to naught. Glenn Beck's "We Surround Them" and The 9.12 Project

Posted on March 14, 2009 at 3:00am 0 Comments

Today Glenn Beck unveiled the first step in the “We Surround Them” strategy to take back our country for the people. With a packed New York City studio and huge groups of participants and viewers in cities across the nation, he spoke right to the heart of America, but even more importantly, he provided incentive, opportunity, and encouragement for Americans to speak to each other.

Beginning with a chronicle of the events leading up… Continue

Pearl,

I didn't get to stop bye the last time I was here with more than a few minutes time. I have been all kinds of busy with our local 9/12 Project groups, the two Tea Parties we've had thus far, and a demonstration of support for Senator Jim DeMint and the Republican answer to health care reform. I love it out in the field more, I've never been the type to find flying a desk my favorite thing.

So how have you been, I certainly hope well! I don't ever want to get very far out of touch with my old friends, busy or not! People are still more important than our work to me. I still haven't found a woman that feels quite the same but ya just never know. A good Christian/Conservative gal that wants to live well out in the country (after the war) would most likely give me enough incentive to work harder still and not try to be a big (dead) hero in battle.

Ok, now I don't know where I'm going with this except to wish you well and au revoir.

God Bless, TERRY

Miss Pearl,

I really did appreciate and enjoy the videos you left on my page. I spent Easter Sunday on the road heading back from 3 days "off" at good Christian friends place in Williamsburg, VA. Videos and the like are a great refreshment from the hundreds of political and trash email I have to deal with after being away three days.

Thank you again and I'll stay in touch.

Peace through Superior Firepower,

TERRY

Miss Pearl,

I'll be perfectly honest with you, I haven't been sick but I've been busy like I can't remember being. I haven't had the opportunity to wander these sites much. More or less just check in now and then. I've become the congressional district 6 coordinator for the Patriotic Resistance, I'm working on our "Tea Party" which is looking very interesting as Senator Jim DeMint (one of the few good guys) has decided to come and see what we're doing. Then I had an interesting surprise; our 9/12 Project group asked me to be their Chaplin, talk about a changed life since I found Jesus. I said my first invocation at our meeting Monday night.

I'm really glad to here you're all right, there are not a lot of people that I'm all that interested in communicating with (I have got to find a better, shorter word) but you are one that I do like to have an ongoing discussion with. I am certainly glad that you did point me in the right direction to dispel any myths about the Mormon Faith, I don't like most myths (read: lies) about much at all. I intend to learn a lot more as time permits.

Hard as it is to believe, this is mainly what I do since the Doc's decided I'm disabled just cause I'm a bit short in the liver department. The nitwits had me dead a year ago and I did sort of look that way, but the Lord Jesus had other plans and about June I started gaining weight and making my own hemoglobin (been getting regular transfusions for 5 years), now I'm back to a proper weight, cutting and splitting wood to keep warm in the cold weather, and all that good stuff. That's the concern I have when a friend is ill, that it could be serious and I know first hand that it's NO fun.

Great to here from you again, I'll be around. If you want some interesting info and jokes, etc. I have a short list that I use to send interesting, important materials to my friends mainly. The address is TMCDONALD13@sc.rr.com, and you may certainly use that address for any communications you wish.

Bye now, TERRY

Miss Pearl,

I want to thank you for the website info. I think it took about 10 seconds for the first info I came across to dispel a bit of disinformation that I had heard earlier just this evening. Monday nights are our Men's Huddle (bible fellowship) meeting at church, so I asked if anyone knew anything about the Mormon Faith. They quite apparently did not, judging by the incorrect info I was given. This was a little more of a disappointment than it appears since a major part of the incorrect information came from our Reverend! Oh well, I am certain he just didn't know.

I forgot to tell you how much I enjoyed your video. I'll get a focus in mind and everything else gets a bit out of focus so I can concentrate on what I have in mind. In any case I watched the video a couple of times and found it truly impressive.

Thanks again for all, both the website and the video, and i wish all the best to you and yours!

Peace through Superior Firepower,

TERRY

Miss Pearl,

You mentioned to me a little while back that you were Mormon. What is a good way of gaining some back up knowledge of this aspect of Christianity in a printed or website form. I am interested in learning more and not just because you said the women were nicer (had a clearer vision of life as we'd like it), I have in my studies touched upon Mormon but find I have very little working knowledge of the subject.

I think that I'd feel a little better about visiting one of your churches if I could at least ask Intelligent questions with a bit of understanding of my interest. Basically I would rather have more of a reason for a visit than "the door was open, just being nosey".

Peace through Superior Firepower.........(come to think of it, some fine superior firepower was designed by a Mormon; John Browning)
