Illegal Immigration: The Very First Business Bailout

With the immigration debate heating up and more Americans than ever starting to demand that our government do their job I got to thinking about the one argument that is so often used by the proponents of illegal immigration: They are only doing jobs that Americans will not do.Like most arguments from liberals (to include squishy republicans) this argument sounds good on face value until you dissect it and realize that only part of the statement is true. Illegal immigrants take work at far below…See More

Sauce for government gander?

Just thought I would share my latest with you all.Matthew FritchRecently the pay czar, Kenneth Feinberg, moved to cut the top 25 executives, from companies that received tax payer bailout monies, pay and benefits by up to 90%. President Obama had this to say regarding the move by the pay czar:"This is America. We don't disparage wealth. We don't begrudge anybody for doing well. We believe…See More

Obama's Olympic Failure Is Bigger Than Just the Olympics

The failure of President Obama to secure the 2016 Olympics in Chicago is much greater than it appears on the surface. First you have to ask yourself if you were a voting member of the IOC, would I want to choose a city whose leader (President Obama) has been apologizing for the supposed sins to the international community for the past nine months and then comes to us and tells us that Chicago is a great city and we should grant them the Olympics? I would think the answer to be no.This in itself…See More

Obamacare and What It Will Do To Military and VA Medical Facilities

Here is one thing that I do not think most people realize about Obamacare. The US Congress created a program known as the Third Party Collection Program (This is a program under title 10 of the US code (10 U.S.C 1095, codified at 32 C.F.R 220).What the program does is bills the private insurance of retirees and dependents (both of active duty and retires) for care received at Military and VA medical treatment facilities. For example, a retiree, covered under tricare (their retirement insurance),…See More

Just a couple of really good stories that I saw today.First we have the Stimulous wasteful spending story:First it was frozen sliced ham for $550,000 a pound. Now, Recovery.gov is found to show paying $1,444,100 to fix a door. Then we have the latest and greatest out of the…See More

Answer to the Cars for Clunkers Program

Here is a story about a truly great American that shows why the "Greatest Generation" truly earned that title:The last time Rachel Veitch bought a car, gas cost 39 cents per gallon, Lyndon B. Recently Obama made the following statement:“The last thing that I want to do,” the president said, “is to have the United States be a foil for — those forces inside Iran who would love nothing better than to make this an argument about the United States."Then perhaps Obama should not have set up the United States as the fall guy by going on his world apology tour.Words have consequences President Obama.See More

Hi! I saw your comment on Michelle Malkin's site about your question regarding who the 11 Republicans were who voted to lift the Gitmo "roadblock"...I have been a huge fan of (Jim) Quinn and Rose (XM radio channel 158 6 to10am weekdays), and they often have lists as to "who and how thay voted"on their website, www.warroom.com. They are Pittsburgh's finest-you would like them!!!
