Representative Peter Cook got me to thinking after he reported that all Congressman have private insurance. So, obviously that will remain for all who can afford it. No public option for Congressman.
So, here's how I think it will work.

No one actually proposed death panels as one right wing pundit suggested. Even Ezekiel Emanuel didn't suggest it. Not that I would put it past him (or anyone in this administration) in a home grown totalitarian system. But that's for the future. We are not there yet.
In the meantime, we have a problem. What to do with Grandma? With a soon to be bankrupt Medicare system and an aging baby boomer population, obviously something has to be done.

He asked her to hold off on bringing in the National Guard until he had an opportunity to figure out how we can use this against Bush.
