Responsibility & Entitlement

I am truly amazed at the road that this country is going down. I am sure you have first hand experience with this yourself. I was tough to speak up when you are right and to take what is coming to you when you are not.

I work in the IT field and I have seen this for years, emails redirecting that it is someone’s else’s responsibility or delaying an answer so they can leave on Friday and address it next week. But the funny thing is next week never comes for some people. I am glad that the bottom fell out of our economy and that the money is not flowing like water.

What this is doing is eliminating all the lazy, useless employees and the company justifies it with the economy (No Unjustified Lawsuits). I am sure you have seen this in your own organization the fat is being cut.

This is actually a good thing for the USA we have given jobs to people to satisfy quotas and that just does not work for the long term. I was taught and believe strongly that you get ahead on your own merits NOT by entitlement. This will not go away unless the attitude in this country changes. Take responsibility for your actions. Enough excuses...........
